So, we all love certain weapon skins more than others, but sadly not actually like USING those weapons heh. Case in point, my Dead Shiny Power Klaw.

It's flash, it's Orky...but I'll never use it. I don't care about 25 more durability for 100 points on a weapon that breaks everything else in the game, so it's a waste. I'll never get to run around with a golden Klaw unless I feel like gimping myself on 100 points.

I'd like to see a Wardrobe system added, ala Diablo 3 or WoW now. Pick whatever weapon you want from the same family(for example only other Klaws in my case) and select the skin you want displayed instead of the weapons default skin. No Swords to Axes or Axes to Swords etc for the sake of not having any animations go wonky, but still give us choices on appearance.

This way I would be able to pick a normal Klaw, mod it out and then select Shiny Klaw as the skin appearance.

Gonna tag the item master @NoahWard to see if he knows of any sort of plans for a system like this.

While I'd want such a feature and fink it be quite minor and not much o' an issue at all, sum blokes'll complain 'bout uvva's usin' dat ta' make dem enemies fink dey got a betta' loadout den dey actually got. Mislead enemies and wot not

I've noticed players in the New Tens more and more insisting that aesthetics and statistics should be unlinked in video games (within reason, no power fists with knife skins). It got REAL nasty in Warframe, the whole Arcane Helmets controversy (and even now, players are complaining about having to assign Arcane Mods 2.0 to Purely Aesthetic Capes and then spend reputation points to switch them to different capes)

gear in these types of games usually affect outcomes of matches, but for EC this is not always the case.
