My guess is be silent until everyone forget it. Afaik I asked that in a Twitch somewhere in Summer and the answer was the same as for everything... Somewhere in the future. I mean they couldn't even build character Screen which is able to select > 4 chars although they already build a new selection Screen. Now they will need to touch this stuff again and we all know touching stuff multiple times is more effective than when it's done right from the beginning.
I'm not entirely sure why it was removed in the first place. To my knowledge it always seemed to work fine?
from what i have read and seen there was a bug causing a crash with voip so they removed / disabled it till they find / sort the bug ... but tbh it needs to be back soon because this type of game works sooo much better with faster communication granted i think the few russians i have seen typing might not find it helpful ..
It was disconnecting/desyncing from the server. Someone would use VOIP and instantly get disconnected. With the servers overloaded right now, that might be another reason they've left it off for now.
I want this one back. Or at least word of why it's not in again. I mean, is it that hard? "Sorry, not working at the moment, but we got other, more pressing things to do right now, so bare with us, please" If i would read something like above, i would be totally fine. But nothing... does not fit the "transparent development" image... eh?
They actually said long ago that they disabled that because was causing some server crashes when you use it, so is really transparent. No one know when it will come again.
That's okay, and at that point i saw it myself how i disconnected when pressing the PTT Button. I mean, it was alpha, shit happens, totally understandable at that time. But why is it not in again? That's what would be interessting. And they keep silence about it. And that's not transparent
