i'm just passing by to report that suddenly, the lattest staff post is from brent ellison. the thing is that it dates back to :"Posted on 2014-02-23 13:23."
I have an idea for the QA tracker... should that go here? I don't know how you guys were going to address questions that have been answered in the dev stream, if you were just going to clear the list every friday or what? But it'd be cool if questions that have been answered got moved to a different tab where they could still be reviewed by rating, but had comments enabled or something so people could state what the answer was and work out specifics if people were still confused. That way, the questions that were the most popular/pertinent get archived by their importance, but we don't get a buildup of old questions at the top of the QA tracker.
I guess it worked again after you refreshed the page? That's currently a problem if you access the site while the bot have the file open for writing. It's a small window of maybe 3-4 seconds every five minutes. SO it's not a very big deal atm. Sure, it's ok to post that here too. I'm thinking of keeping the questions in until the live-stream is over and take them out together with an answer. The thought have crossed my mind to keep every question answered separate including the answer. I'm currently too busy to work on the Q&A Tracker as of right now, maybe I'll have time this weekend.
Hi, the bugg for me atleast stayed quite a bit (atleast an hour) even after refreshing. It's no big deal, just so you have the information^^. I would also suggest comments for the Questions in the Q&A. To keep it clear, maybe just show the comments to the questions if you click on a button at the Question. That way you could help out people who have a Question thats already answered by devs. If the comments are only shown with a button, I think it would discourage flaming. I don't want "You **** that question was already answered, get out of here!!!", but rather: "Here "link" the devs already talk about this, but if more people are interested in a more extensiv/new answer thats fine too."
Kind of the way questions get answered in Answers.com or StackOverflow and stuff. Questions can be marked as "answered", and have a little comment section attached where the best answer can be voted on. Answered questions don't stay in the main question stream but are instead moved to a different page where they can be reviewed based on popularity or keywords. It's a nice system, don't know how easy it would be to implement. You VM guys have done a great job already!
I'd like to see a poll tracker, so you can see what polls have been put up and what has been voted on.
That's a pretty good idea. Might work. I'll look into it. About the Q&A Tracker: I haven't had the time to update the questions asked in the live-stream and update everything. I'll try to have it working as expected by tomorrow.
Hey good Sir, maybe you could add http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/members/francoislim.30009/ this fellow from Quality Assurance to the dev tracker, here http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/xbone-ps4.32141/page-5 was a post from him that I did not see in the Dev tracker. Thanks a lot.^^ Btw, any specific problem holding back a Foudnerslounge devtracker?
Hey, sorry to respond late. Not really, but having access to the Founder's Lounge require the purchase of a founders pack, hence it's restricted content seen as a perk. As I have no way of telling who's a founder and who's not I left it out.
