well technically they can get pretty high up to 100 meters. they are not like flyers but in an mmo from a players pov that is pretty much like flying.
I bet it'll be bikes, prisms and serpents. I'm more curious about when they add fliers after launch. Will it be something like a Hemlock or Phoenix for bringing the pain and Nightwings or maybe the Nightshade for air to air? Also on the topic of wraithlords, they can be replaced by the much fluffier wraithknights that actually do have a living pilot.
If there will be personal transport as well as armored(Jet Bikes and Falcons) I suppose there have to be some kind of harassment vehicles, like Vyper(one pilot and a gunner), as well as in the tanks. Aviation is a bit of an overdraft, I can imagine Jet Bikes flying or jumping over terrain, but a Nightwing or a Phoenix is a bit too much, anyway all of the Eldar armored vehicles are gravi-tanks...
They said that they want fliers after the game launches though. It's perfectly reasonable to speculate on them.
... Summoning jetbikes for mounts. Awesome. Anyway... I wonder if any of the ranked PvP matches are going to have vehicles in them. Would be interesting. If i don't see a falcon... and all it's similar variants ( that use the exact same base model ) I'd be surprised.
I hope it will be Phoenix not the fluffterror Hemlock. For A2A it is most probably going to be the Nightwing. Wraithknight IF it is gonna be in the game I am sure wont be playable. The living human pilot is essentially the twin of the dead pilot whos soulstone is embedded inside the wraithknight. So technically it has tow pilots 1 dead and 1 biologically alive though in trans or something. They also must be twins in order to control one. Phil Kelly probably watched the trailer of Pacific Rim too many times before he came up with this awesome fluff......
It's Pacific rim's piloting idea that is a rip-off of Eldar Titans, not vice versa. (by the way, I loved Pacific Rim)) And personally I dislike Wraithknight, it is totally unnecessary addition without much zest. Though it is not as bad as Centurions, it is not good either, imo.
