In games such as RO2, warthunder. vehicles tend to have certain weak spots in their front armour, from the flank to hit the fuel tank, from the rear to hit the engine that can be exploited if hit properly. Will Eternal Crusade be implementing this kind of system or will it be on a basis of a health bar? E.g A hit to the left of the machine gunner placement of the frontal armour of a t-34 tank in RO2 tends to blow up the tank as it cooks the ammunition that is stored there. Or maybe a simpler system of; more damage taken if hit at its flank and even more damage by the rear or just using the health bar.
In the latest live-stream it was said that vehicles will take less damage from the front and more from the sides and rear.
I don't remember if they said anything about that, maybe weapon destruction may have been mentioned as a possibility but I forget sorry.
In the last livestream the tanks looked a lot like the ones in Planetside 2 having just a health bar and taking less damage from the front, but it's unkown whether or not they're going to stay that way.
