or you could put spikes on you vehicle drive threw the enemy and there body would be stuck to them and then it with give a debuff to surrounding members of that faction, that way you dont need to change the body stuck on your vehicle at the deployment screen, you just add your own in real time "mmm i think i need more orks on my rhino, got enough eldra and space marines. "Drive into a group of orks and leaves with new hood ornaments"
Wooo I could see entire player-driven minigames deriving from something like this - almost like the storybook fae who had to dip their hats in blood all the time
well if I had the ability to customize my ride id do it so that way when I acquire enough points I can whip out the ol pimp mobile and start RIDING DIRTY! with a couple space marines impaled in the front.
Yes, indeed i could imagine it being quite cool to be able to add things like battle honors and purity seals on to the hulls of your vehicle. not to mention a variation of weapons.
I think people who are quoting Planetside 2 for having good vehicle customization should find a better example. That game's recent additions to vehicle customization are ridiculous and I don't want to see strobing lights, neons, pink headlamps, gold plates, or bobble heads on the bonnet. Planetside 2 has Team Fortress 2 syndrome, that being any sense of keeping weapons / items in a style or aesthetic are binned. Here's a good example of vehicle customization on a Baneblade: http://image.bolterandchainsword.com/uploads/gallery/album_2771/gallery_39401_2771_193376.jpg No retarded shit like memes, bobbleheads, or anything else which would ruin it.
By retarded I meant out of canon (Eg trollfaces, anything out of place in 40K). My local GW store assembled 4 Baneblades, 1 IG, 1 Ork, 1 SM, 1 Chaos. The Ork Baneblade had all sorts of cool stuff, including a Gretchin wearing goggles inside the demolisher cannon, a gun trailer on the back, added turrets, and other cool stuff.
