As the title states, evading is literally tied to the vault/climb key no matter what you rebind, say for instance you tried to rebind evade to crtl, your vault is now ctrl too. Now I'll get onto the problem of this; evading away from someone in a melee engagement, or if someone is shooting at you from afar- just to have the roll put you into a vault/climb off of the map or ontop of something that makes it easier for them to shoot you. This happens to me waaaaaay too much, and I only hit the roll key once so it's not me double tapping it or anything that's causing this- only shitty keybindings. Why is this a thing? Why can't you bind evade/boost to something other than space bar and leave spacebar as vault/climb? Literally it dumbfounds me that this is even a thing. There was a game made by a sixteen year old in his spare time that doesn't have keybinding issues like this, it's fucking astounding. (Though said game is shit for different reasons.)
Same problem but opposite annoyance for me. Trying to climb/vault into a fight and lose a stamina bar because the climb prompt disappeared as you hit space.
Same thing with Execute/Rescue/Interact with cap point being on the same key. No I don't want to execute the guy on the point I need to uncap it before-Oh, there it goes.
It's intended to be contextual so that it works depending on what you're aiming at. Intent is one thing, reality is quite another and what you wrote happens all too often in game.
What you guys dont like vaulting over the rail into the lava when you simply want to roll away from a melee opponent? You're not enjoying climbing UP on top of a crate while being shot when you simply wanted to roll BEHIND the cover of the crate?
I'm aware, doesn't mean I have to like it. Send the trend become a lot more prevalent with the rise of console games.
