    No. The JPA is indeed meant to be hitting the enemy from the rear flanks, it is not, and never was, meant to be able to charge a gun line.

    Perhaps it's time for you to pick up your shield and play the role you appear to enjoy as intended?

    As for how many are there? Too many to count from an Eldar perspective when playing Vs LSM.

    When it's CSM you don't see as many as their class mix gets screwed by too many playing Havoc AC, against Orks, I rarely see their flying Ork.

    Frankly though, you have been ruining other peoples game for a while now with your working as intended ability to evade stuns etc etc, and your over reliance on either the fist or at one point the power sword and all the issues it carried at the time.

    Your army should be mainly tacticals, not specialists, currently, it's a pleasure to see a LSM tactical other than when you drag one out of the bag to cap a point. Not all LSM players play the cheese game it seems, just most.

    While JPA are indeed perfectly suited for disruption tactics, they are supposed to be as good in the frontline charges. Cus, like, they don't have to run across the open field for it, and can also disengage at will?

    Needless to say that JPA armor is by no possible means worse than the other classes power armor, and so its just straight up weird to see those guys nerfed so badly. Balance, class symmetry, i get it, but cmon...its not like they're flyin round with their shirts off, right?

    They should have instead provided the other classes with low-cost armor-boosting wargear. Would have made much more sense no matter how you look at it.
    And now we'll have frontline specialist posthuman supersoldiers in powered armor dying to just a few rounds of dakka. Outrageous.

    The same goes for 25 armor Sorcs, too. Bloody shame.

    Hey, look!
    JPAs will finally have stats tailored to their role, which is being harasser and disruptor, not frontline fighter!

    JPA and sorcerers were used as and instead of GA.
    That wasn't their intended role, so they got nerfed to not perform well at brawls.
    JPAs are disruptors and harassers, you are meant to go in, slam once or twice and get out while your team shoots at the opponents.

    You also don't fix OP class that takes the job of other classes by OPing other classes too.

    Or, ye know, you start rollin'. Because the dev gits apparently gave ground assaults their lunges after rolling back.

    But yeah, I just simply think it's about time the JPA gits gets hit a bit in durability. Same goes for the support classes, but they got spammed plenty as well.

    However, I really like how they buffed the GA durability slightly, because as far as I remember, they got more armour. Which would mean you now get those two options of either slugging and rolling to the frontlines as a tanky git, or jump around to the enemy's back to give them a lil' surprise with flimsy armour.

    JPA / Raptor / Stormboy have had the below nerfs / patches that effect their performance recently:
    • Ranged bitched and get their Dbash duration increased (to be fair it was a bit short. Good call on that bitching there :p)
    • Ranged bitched again and JPA / Raptor / Stormboy get a loadout capacity re-shuffle to be able to chose to be either of these but no more than any one of each at any given time:
      • Extremely agile
      • Extremely tanky
      • Extremely choppy
    Yet Ranged can still chose to slot as follows:
    • Extremely tanky + Extremely shooty
    • Extremely tanky + Extremely agilile
    • Extreemely Agie + Extremely Shooty
    ^Double standards I'm thinking?​

    Most recently:
    • Ranged bitched yet again and JPA / Raptor / Stormboy gets their AC nerfed into extinction
      • Alongside this as an added bonus!!! Ranged also get a buttload more penetration for their hose of easymode!
    And Ranged strategy remains the same: Hold down LMB for the win.

    And yet, Ranged cannot gain Extreme agility, due to the fact that they can only roll around. Granted, they can equip some wargear to be able to roll 4 times in a row, but that'd only be Moderate agility compared to JPA.

    However, here's where Ground Assaults come in. They gain somewhat better mobility from being able to lunge after rolling, and they're tankier than Ranged to start with, and once he comes close, there's not much a Ranged git can do to stop the other from ripping him a new hole (unless he knows the RPS well and the GA messes it up).

    Basically, I think it's in an alright balance.
