To me I under stand the whole concern about PTP pay-to-play, as well as PTW pay-to-win, I think in my option if you want skins to a point ya pay for them like any other game/unless it is promised. I will say before they put more stuff in maby they can balance problems that are current befor more and more unbalanced stuff enter the game?
I couldn't have said that better my self, corse us founders that still play/post on here cuz I had 12 others pay that $150 and then some and since that whole BS lie I alone out of 12 still post on here and play so it sadends me to see that but then again I understand, who wants to play agame that the makers lied and made us feel cheated, I play and I post because I hope this game will be amazing as we founders hoped it to be and yeah I still put money in mainly for weapons and cosmetics, I will ask and this is for any Dev to answer "Do we matter & does our option matter"?
The funny fact is that exept for LSM those are good classes but why the duck take the legion of the damned for LSM???? Being an IF "chapter" the legion of the damned could have been nice as IF elite but DA, UM, BA or SW? That's plain stupid. Where are our librarians? That could have been nice... why not praetorians, huscarl, sanguinary guards or deathwing/dreadwing/ravenwing, champions, chaplain, ... there is so many characters to put why the legion of the damned? I like them, but they aren't fit for it exept if all SM are dead and all enemy are crushed by non physical imperial warp entity immune to weapons... As usual a great potential but no fucking mind behind...
What are you blabbing about here? Damned Legionnares have nothing to do with just IF. If anything, they are the closest thing to Emperors daemons, popping out of nowhere when needed, doing shit to help and then poof, disappearing. Hardly something bound to IF exclusively. Because they look badass and badass looks is what you pay for with RTC, other elites will be able to copy their loudout, but not looks. Others are likely to be regular requisition elites at one point or another. RTC ones are going to be the most badass looking ones only.
I don't find anything of badass in Legion. But I know for sure that will spend all my money on Deathwing terminators with assualt shields and robes. That's I call badass. And Legion...well flames and skulls bikers. Nothing intersting IMO.
@Katitof You may be the ruler of ELDAR lore but please don't patronise me on SM stuff. The legion of the damned is linked to the son of Dorn (read legion of the damned the title is clear enough) And maybe the others will come, that do not change the point LoD aren't the good choice. @Insef Same as katitof, read the book, you will see how badass they are...
I read the Book too. But the Legion of the Damned have nothing to do with Imperial Fist. They can also one of the lost Legion.
@Vindi No they can't because there is no such things as lost legions. Two Primarch are missing, their legion had never been with them. Part of those was put in UM and WB legions at the dawn of the crusade. In the books they are linked to IF by the way the Scourge can see them. They share something in the darkness within. They will serve beyond the veil of death.
Then please Read the Codex Books from GW. Like the New ones. It say; They are not link to any known Chapter in the Imperium.
Personally i dont got no beef with with LotD but i'd guess they were picked over the classes that you listed cus they have a monolithic build no matter which side are you on(they are a subfaction themselves technically), whereas librarians are slighly different for all chaptes and super-different when it comes to say space wolves, and then we have deathwing, champions, chaplains and such that are, too, often chapter specific, so the Devs would have to come up with several different characters. Thats like if CSM got Cult units. Sounds great and looks good on paper but boy that's a lot of content to work on. Hopefully we'd have sets of subfaction-specific classes released for all races, but that won't be any near future.
