You're surprised how exactly? Its the same with 2 man bikes(but founders will have extra skin) and pretty much ALL RTC weapons, which were supposed to be founders only, same with certain armor cosmetics. They were unable to produce enough content to keep it founders only.
I actually didn't know that they where giving out the limited founder items to everyone. Since I only have the one account it's kind of hard to tell. That is some seriously fucked up shit if you ask me. So after all this time and energy and money we the founders just get nothing except for a title and some ugly ass weapons? No wonder why so many people where getting all salty... I thought it was just because of the "open world" and "free to waaagh!" that was pissing the founders off.... but this.... this is just like kicking us while we are down!
While what you say is true...so far the way RTC weapons have turned out to be (with some exceptions) you cant really blame him.
I can drink to that! But I have to admit it's hard to do research, using sources about the game. They never seem to be accurate, or on schedule with how the game actual functions.
And founders may have to pay even more to have this stuff... It's upsetting for the people who backed this game from the start with $150+. Feel sorry for those founders.
Glad someone gets what i mean and that i'm not being upset or a salt mine. But just saying it before people buy it, to think about it. A month down the line when it comes out, forums will be packed with people complaining about it and how limited the use is etc, making Mods jobs harder, more forum salt and making Devs have to deal with refunds. Just bringing up a simple point that the item will not get much use for the consumer with the current elite meta (which won't change for awhile).
