I'm finding it difficult to move around fluidly in the maps and it's not the map design, it's the small bits of geometry that simply pop up barely an inch out of the ground that can bounce tanks and stop footmen mid-sprint. Is the Unreal Engine genre inherently incapable of having soft collisions with other player's, map and object geometry? Every time a player runs into just a wee little dip or rut in the map's floor, it stops him dead as if there was a chest high wall in front of him. I've found this common in alot of Unreal engine based games, mostly Indies. Is this fixable?
Another problem i'm finding with the Unreal Engine is the HARD collisions between players, especially between friendlies. We need some collisions between friendly players. (Players softly clip into each other, but not fully. Just enough for players to move by each other in tight quarters.)
