little perfomance drop, I'm sure nothing that won't vanish in a week or so, though the game seems little more chaotic and everyone run around even more like rabbits then they used to.
Anyone noticed in addition to worst performances a huge nerf on the plasma cannon ? Just disappointed in my all time 40k favorite weapon being pretty much useless now.
Since the patch, I've taken a performance hit. Also out of probably 30 matches, I've ended up playing either Torias or Pegasus in all but two. Haven't played the fortress map at all. It's getting really old seeing the same two maps. That said, thank you for all you guys do.
Unfortunately I'm still getting an unplayable framerate (less than 5 fps in-game, averaging at around 1fps). Hopefully a future update ends up fixing that.
According to the notes the fortress map was removed for now due to performance problems. I had a similar issue getting Torias 4 times in a row until I went and selected skirmish from the world map. From my end, the glitchy audio is driving me absolutely insane but otherwise I'm enjoying the patch quite a bit.
Has anyone experienced lag spikes at the very beginning before they spawn for the first time? I am experiencing at least a 30 second delay after the timer has counted down before my screen goes to my marine. In addition to this, has any also experienced lag spikes that causes the game to outright freeze and locks up? In the 3 games that I have been in I have experienced this kind of freeze and lock up, these freezes aren't short ones either, they are several minutes long. When I try to exit to desktop or minimize the game, it also locks the mouse up and the only way to get back to normal function is to restart or shut the comp off completely.
That's been a pretty common occurrence for me for about as long as I've been playing. Though maybe not 30 seconds.
I'm sorry but I just saw your specs in another post, 1.7ghz dual core processor is not strong to play the game, it is CPU intensive (so I read) - I jumped into it after I upgraded CPU recently. And it was working stunningly pre patch! Lots of good stuff in patch and good to hear others are sorted, but would like to return to pre-patch performance if possible.
