There's no reason having more than one F2P option means watering down the F2P population. Having multiple options will appeal to a larger number of F2P players, and mean greater retention of that population.
No,but having the IG as a f2p would mean that people would go IG by default, thereby destroying the purpose of this f2p system.
Voted 'Nids. They are essentially cunning animals directed by instinct and higher intelligence; they have no personalities or independent minds whatsoever. Its hard to relate to something whose thoughts consists entirely of [Born. Eat. Move. Run. Eat. Jump into digestion pool. Die]. I don't know, I just think playing as a war-loving brute with a personality and identify (Waaagh!) would be more enjoyable than simply acting out a process of a super-organism unthinkingly.
I voted for IG because i love their weaponry and Death Korps of Krieg regiment. I love their look and I really think this game should have a human playable race (I dont mention SM because they're humans too but I'm talking about a non-power-armour race)
That doesn't make sense. The mere existence of IG as a F2P option doesn't mean that the Ork F2P option will be ignored. Far more likely is that the overall F2P population will be larger and they'll regularly switch between the two options. As such both end up being played there may be fewer individual dedicated F2P ork players, but it means more players overall for the game so that's preferable anyway.
Id agree with this, its a fantasy MMO, so orks are a HUGE draw, we all know what humans are. Plus IG compared to space marines ehhhhhh orks are mean green and tons o fun, warbosses literally are I think more options for them to try out would help foster that addiction to the game so they sign up and get out of F2P land.
