Slowly ruling out my options; seeing how Necron Lords, Astartes, Eldar Exarchs are recommended, how combat heavy this will be? Is the character required to survive on its own on very hostile environment?
Very combat heavy, skirmishes against hundreds of enemies will definitely occur and if there will be truly epic conflicts, our characters will only be partly involved. In case of Eldar, however, I'd prefer to have at least one ordinary Aspect Warrior or a Warlock, it would be interesting to see how Storm of Silence interacts with common eldar warriors outside battles since there will be gaps between fights when "peaceful" communications prevail.
In addition, if you come up with an Exarch - this is fine too, players will mostly fight if not altogether then at least in small groups so you wont fight alone anyway
Name: Akarahel "Scion of the Crimson Dynasty" Primary:Synaptic Disintegrator Secondary:Tachyon Arrow (reason for him having such a thing is that once was a gift from his lord from the war in heaven) Personality: A dutiful and calculating assassin that cares little for the messy business that is close quarters fighting. He speaks little of honor as his duty produces very little but would beg his lord for forgiveness if he ever misses a shot much like how a lychguard would showing he at least knows the concept. He tends to keep to himself now that his dynasty has been destroyed by the ravages of time and his lord has disappeared but he continues on as simply giving up is inconceivable to his mind. Background: He served his Dynasty faithfully from the time he was flesh earning a reputation as a master assassin even before being placed into the metal body he now possess. He fought through the war in heaven as despite his dynasty's political and philosophical focuses his lord still had a deep rooted sense of duty to his race and marched his armies to war. Then upon the realization of what their gods had actually done to them a great rage and regret consumed his lord as they in turn marched upon the gods. Once the conflict was done and over and the dynasty went into the great sleep time was not easy on the Crimson worlds. Asteroid impacts tectonic movements, even on one occasion two planets smashing into one another left the dynasty in ruins. Akarahel awoke in these ruins to find his lord gone and his fellows either destroyed or also missing. He now wanders the galaxy looking for his missing lord occasionally finding something to take his attention since he does have an eternity to find his lord and even someone of his patience needs something to hold his immediate attention from time to time.
Name: Omniel Carus Primary weapon: Astartes-pattern Combi-grav Secondary Weapon: Astartes-pattern power fist Personality: As a person Omniel is cautious man, someone who keeps most other humans at arms length due to his suspicious nature and what some would call cynical outlook on life and other people. This weary nature can be seen in how he chooses to wage war for the imperial fists as captain of the fourth company. Rather than force the troops under his command into a position where they would be an easy target for enemy fire, Omniel prefers to select optimal vantage points and then bombard his foes with heavy weapons fire and artillery shells until there is scarcely a single troop left to fire at. He is a captain who cares for the wellbeing of the troops under his command and does everything that he can to minimise casualties. History: Omniel Carus was recruited by the imperial fists chapter some half a millennia ago and has served them ever since, fighting in the most hellish of conflicts in the emperor's name, in order to protect the imperium and it's people until the day that he draws his last breath comes. While fighting for the imperial fists Omniel has proven to the chapter that he is a fine warrior and capable leader, having defended planets from the looming threat of Ork WAAGH's, attacks from malevolent Xenos and the ruinous powers of chaos. Additionally I have a character that I would like to put in but if I'm not allowed that's fine, Omniel is my definite character that I want to be in this RP Name: Commissar Luna Quinn Primary weapon: Armageddon pattern Bolt pistol Secondary Weapon: Power axe (Dubbed "Xenosbane") Personality: (to be added) History: (to be added)
I wasn't planning on doing a Dark Eldar, but then I stumbled upon this inspiration: http://jflaxman.deviantart.com/art/Angel-of-Entropy-394665956 Now I have more options instead of less options. .-.
For those guys currently going Imperials, Myself, Veneriah, and Kanila, would you be interested in discussing how our entourage is going to mesh together? I see that Omniel is a Captain of his company, so it might make sense if he provides the transportation, and assumes rank for our current group. Also maybe discuss brief backstory on what drew our people together? Just looking to get stories straight before we begin. Edit: If I missed an Imperial, than feel free to come in and verbally lash me, before promptly joining in the discussion.
If I am right me and @High_Adept_Zeth are going to be servants of the Ommnissah. Him a Magos and me a Tribune.
@BruticusTheGoreHound sounds good to me. If you want create a pm for the imperials so we don't clog the thread.
