Shhh....until our heresy is heard by Zeth and wrath of the Mechanicum descends upon our heads like a hammer
Well all this talk of knowledge and the Changer of Ways make me think this may not end well for Victus... or very well, depending on your perspective.
I am on a quest for knowledge, too and I can assure you that we will do alright as we are fighting against the minions of the Prince of Excess and not those of Tzeentch. Another question @Maensith : My ship is not described yet, is it? Can I do it? I have some very unconventional design ideas. Just to make sure that neither Eldar nor Necrons feel at home in it.
As I said. This is going to end so badly for him. He inevitably will. "Well, okay. You explained how that is but why is it like that, exactly?" Victus has too many questions and an inner urge to just know things that's far too strong for his own good. Plus he would know (from previous experience in true radical fashion) the Alpha Legion is occasionally a good source of useful info. Not a recipe for future disaster or heretical influence at all.
@Schalli I don't really understand how the necron artifact (the one that is of necron origin) would be useful as a bargaining chip against them? And you really are pushing all the buttons Is that intended?
@Maensith I'm wondering if I should briefly talk about Victus' history in more detail in context with the Alpha Legion and such. It would probably make sense if they know who everyone on the Sword of Orion is.
Yes, you can, though remember that it's not too big because you're about to return soon and if your ship is of size of a cruiser then it wont find room on the Alpha Legion's ship He states that he needs Necrons' help in activation of their artefact and that the Dark Eldar's artefact is what the Necrons need to produce a cure from the flayer curse, i.e. he hints that Alpha Legion needs Necrons' tecnhology - at least this is how I see it
