@BlackNecron : When I play Sabios, your Necron (the lonely one, cannot remember his name [Okantakht]) is the more logical [Phaeron]. Not that this is an achievement, seeing how arrogant most Necrons are (justified?)

Regarding the thing, Sabios threw: I completely missed it, when did he get it and what was he supposed to do with it? And why did he throw it? This are important questions, especially because it is my character, we are talking about. I do not want to throw the word railroad around, but I am not 100% okay, how the events turn out. This would be okayish, if Sabios was under Eldar mind-control, but then he would not have booby-trapped the device.

Regarding the device-speculation: Messing with the navigation would not make any sense at the moment, as you are on the way to the point already. Offending you, by doing that would only ensure, that you arrive there without wanting to cooperate.
Maybe the Storm of Silence does not want this mission to succed
