If there is still room, another necron would like to join: Name: Okantakht the Old Primary Weapon: Warscythe of the Broken God (Legendary artifact, rumored to contain a splinter of a C'tan shard) Secondary Weapon: Tachyon Arrow Personality: A calm, wise and overall suprisingly humerous Necron, although long solitude from the rest of his kind has made him a bit eccentric, and he tends to talks to himself or no one in particular sometimes. Because he didn't partake in the Long Sleep he thinks incredibly longwinded, and has knowledge about things normally only a cryptek would know (A necessity when venturing for millenia without one). Recently he has shown first signs of the Flayer-Curse. History: Once called Arzokh, he was an Overlord of the minor dynasty Okanthakt that was completely annihilated in the War in Heaven. He himself stranded on a planet and was therefore not able to follow his kind in their eternal slumber. Now the Phaeron of a One-Man-Dynasty, Azokh took on the name of his dynasty as his own, venturing the galaxy, collecting powerful artifacts, gathering information and defending the tombs of his kin in preperation of their eventual awakening. Recently he has been searching frantically for a treatment for the Flayer-Curse, incited by his own possible infection.
I've tagged you as well as the others when some important point has been presented for a public discussion. In a few words, we have decided that each faction will travel on its personal space craft, only one and not too big, each ship will be equipped with a small NPC crew which serves only as background figures and stay only aboard the ships, never accompanying playes' characters somewhere else. Also, if some players wish to, they can have small personal retinues accompanying them into battles and missions when players will have to disembark on planets' surfaces, such retinues also serve rather as NPCs characters, but a bit more significant ones, if I may say so. Yes, there will be several ones. Btw, your character will sometimes serve as Tandreus' replacement and the other characters wont know that instead of Tandreus they are addressed by his battle brother - you know, this is a lovely trick of the Alpha legionnaires since they literally look the same. I promise we will make a lot of fun from it - for example, while Tandreus will capture imperials, your character will lead an attack on necrons' tomb world to save necron players from their deceased servants and conduct parley afterwards. Then Tandreus will communicate with necrons and your character with imperials , none of them will note this trick and such a deceit will regularly be exploited by the Alpha Legion. Yes, there is room, but I agree with @BruticusTheGoreHound that humour is definitely not what a true necron might possess - they can demonstrate sarcasm, I think, or cruel cold joy while scouring entire planets from billions of living creatures, but humour in a traditional meaning of this word - doubtedly. The rest of you character's personality is fine and accepted
@GoreWrencha @Avenging-Angel @Aedric your characters' profiles have been updated. @ZceeNook waiting for your character and his retinue, make it more readable, please, although I'm the ancient more than 10 000 years-old Phoenix Lord I dont understand who is who amongst your characters and their profiles are only partly completed
In case of the Alpha Legion this is easy - they are not Eldar or necrons or even imperials - they are all One, faceless and same-looking, similar heads of One body that is Alpharius. Given that we occupy our own battle barge there can be several identical battle brothers, we dont even need to give them names, really
@Maensith I am pretty interested in joining. I think I would like to make a character for the least played faction. I was also thinking of making a tech priest or bringing Vlad in or something like that although they are just ideas. What would you recommend? I am happy with anything, just give me a idea and I'll write it out.
The maiden mask's eye-lenses flickered with devillish flames and she nodded with satisfaction at young warrior's words. She addressed him calmly, trying to invigorate his interest Well, child, I need an Aspect Warrior by my side, I have my daughters yet, but I need a volunteer representing another aspect of the Bloody-Handed One. Will you heed my call? She reached out her opened palm, awaiting the young warrior to touch it with his hand what would signify his consent. Speaking as a normal human - that means I'd like to see an Eldar player, preferrably Aspect Warrior or a Farseer, we have a single Dark Eldar Scourge (Gore Wrencha) but no Eldar characters (apart from Jain Zar which I play for and a small retinue of banshees-NPCs). How does it sound to you? Anyway, you can pick any faction you wish, I just sound my preference in this case
Eldar it is! Also a quick question: can Eldar grow beards? Just wonderin'. Also I will probably have to do a bunch of research in order to rp him correctly.
