I imagine we don't have so many books about the Eldar, because as a human reader, there's only so much arrogant, being talked down to, one could take. Looks cool though, will probably need to pick this up.
There will be a series of books about each Phoenix Lord, at least this is what Gav Thorpe stated on his blog. There is a HUGE potential for writing of this fabulous race
Eldar ain't got shit on Silmarillion Elves. Glorfindel is what their warriors dream they could grow up to be.
To be honest I wouldn't know because I really hate Tolkien's writing myself. Spends too much time on things that are just irrelevant for my taste. My opinion in a nutshell View: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l1YmS_VDvMY You can sum up most of my taste in fiction when you see the complete works of Lovecraft and Poe sitting next to each other on a shelf and a copy of Eternal Darkness sitting in my ancient GameCube.
I wouldnt say so, Tolkien's art is a masterpiece, especially Silmarillion and quite many things of his Elves (both those dwelling with Valar and in the Middle-Earth) are borrowed by GW - their pantheon, mythology, for example, and their whole entourage. Btw, according to Simarillion, humans were created as something like "younger brothers" of Eldar and their first generations were almost as strong and magnificent as Eldar themselves, slowly degenerating into ordinary weak and short-lived humans
Waiting for remaining necron players, Sabios and the Scourge to post, the RP is not abandoned yet (I hope)
I'm still here. I just have nothing worth adding to the discussion between Jain Zar and the Phaerons.
Me too, family is more important than RP. If you respond with heresy, I remind you, who I currently play.
