If Victus became anything it would be an ultimately well meaning renegade. Chaos is never the answer (possible sorcery doesn't count )! How could one turn their back on humanity when its need is most dire!?

You act like you can walk the line and even possibly use the warp without fail. You'll end up turning against the things you hold closest simply because it's the nature of the warp. It corrupts in due time. Maybe not immediately but given enough time...

If he does start to feel the other Imperials becoming too hostile for his liking he probably will just try to go start spending his time with the Alpha Legion (possibly even the Dark Eldar) more. Bear in mind we are to Commorragh and then the Eye of Terror. If the Dark City doesn't break him then he should(?) be fine at least until our final destination.
