"It's scientifically impossible for the bumblebee to fly; but the bumblebee, being unaware of these scientific facts, flies anyway."
for anyone who actually believes the quote Grigdusher made
it goes to show that politicians dont have to be intelligent...just popular
I believe that humans in 40K are of the average height of 1.8 metres.
There was a reference to it in either Horus Rising or False Gods.
Also have this from Imperial Armour Volume Two (First Edition):
Edit: For some reason I couldn't get the details in columns!
got to love dem bees
The orks growing in the cocoon 2m so the ork boyz is 2m not less!
But Ork boys are stooped with bent legs, so whilst they are 2m when stood straight they normally appear to be 1.8m.
Nice list, but aren't Primarchs atleast 4 meters tall, some even 5? In "Battle for the Fang" Magnus the Red has a shoulder height of 5 (!) meters.
Finding what height to use for the primarch was one of the hard things, because different sources gave huge variations in size. I did this during summer when I had free time, I have been meaning to alter some size and get more. I never get to it. If someone wants my gimp file I will happily provide it
One source even mentions a primarch fighting a Avatar...which are huge.
Alpharius is SM size, Magnus can vary his size, but most are around a similar height.
Horus is described as:
(Horus Rising, Legacy Paperback, page 43)
Since an Astartes is described as being half a metre taller than an average human, Horus would probably be about 60-70cm taller than an Astartes, or 10-11ft tall.
