The tough spot comes in with why four MASSIVE space marine chapters are trying to find this item. What could dupe them into attacking Imperial forces.

What does the fluff say regarding the marine chapters working together, except the horus heresy, has there been any instance of this? even with only 2 chapters working together or 3 or heck even more then four.

That's in the title of our lil' site. It's called Crusade, in which many Imperial forces might participate.

Besides Armageddon, tyranids, Black crusades. Not very often. It is usually a larger threat.

There is another possibility. Most of these races: Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Inquisition & Battle Sisters could be renegades, traitors or heretics to the forces of Chaos?

The Orks are going to have mass numbers, especially for the F2P members. So this particular assortment of extra human fighters could also benefit the Chaos forces.

Some Imperial Guardsmen have become renegades to the Legions of Chaos.
Inquisitors have done under handed dealings with the dark gods and their daemons. Some have even converted Space Marines and Imperial Guardsmen to Chaos.
Even the Sisters of Battle have been touched by the dark gods.
  6. It also can take 100 of years for info to reach on place and then come back, and that could be if nothing goes wrong or gets lost or what ever, so the lords in terra could not even be aware that sisters, IG and Space Marines our at each other throats in x sector till like 20 years after the fact. The imperial is fricking hug after all

Ok so we have found out some news about why they might be combining strengths, the fluff has always shown a pro incentive to combine different chapters into fighting when the threat has become way to big to handle.

So we need to find out what is the threat or come up with one, and what would lead it into being a big threat perhaps, this most be something big enough that will encompass a change in borders, maybe the planet has resources, or it just might be strategical like the cadian gate.

So the question is why is this place so special?
  8. Micheal Jackson was spotted running around, HES ALIVE! (sorry.)

seriously though, maybe the Tyranids are forward units of an incoming splinter fleet? that combined with the already present Chaos and Eldar threat would be enough to at least catch some eyeballs, but then again that's a double edged sword since the marines can also go ''meh.. let them deal with it.'' so maybe.. titan foundry? Marines love themselves titans.

The thing is this most encompass, eldar, ork, chaos space marines, space marine and all other races that will show up, Necron are fine, they have been there for like forever so meh regular fluff, and we got tau.

The easiest way would be to give everyone their own agendas, then a universal one, they all have come due to it being in their interest.

For example, tau are there due to their borders would be open for invasion and most reinforce the lines if they fall they are wide open, the necron have always been there and awoke for life plundering, Eldar came to stop the necrons, Ork are Ork they want to waaghhh but then again they need more numbers so they combined strengths however that works for them, but it does.

dark eldar are there for booty, both kind of booty, now the SoB and IG can correlate with SM in the goal and they are fighting over it or something, CSM Abbadon is amassing for a crusade and SM are sent there due to knowing to stop them, and a great force is needed to match the CSM one.

Now what we require is a prize that has always been there, titan manufactures? could be its a big prize, because SM and CSM always got some agenda towards them.

    "The Prize"

We need some sort of target to fight over which is big enough to let IG and SoB and SM to fight over as well, note is they can not stop fighting due to they are either to far away for communication or a warpstorm enveloping the system for base command to tell them to stop.

I just have to ask... Why do people want the most specialist units in the 40k universe to be playable?

I see threads about how inaccurately the various forces of man have been displayed in videogames... Then in turn, comments on how the Inquisition could be implemented.

Why would anyone question the lore of 40k portrayed, then ask to break it? You either do not understand the scale of an MMO, or do not understand how rare a grey knight is... let alone how vindictive the Inquisition is towards all Imperial Forces.

I know for a fact that anyone who started their 40k hobby through the Dawn of War Series, seen the grey knights as a unit for a space marine army. While it isn't unrealistic when you pit it against the lore... it wouldn't be a common event. And of alllllll the Chapters to back up... the one chapter that goes against everything they stand for. The one loyalist Chapter with an esoteric agenda... The Blood Ravens.

What you are actually asking for... between calling lore, wrongly, fluff... and a'lot of anger towards THQ, is a chance to have more Imperial Forces incorrectly portrayed.

Nice work. But no... I don't agree.
