I had originally changed my avatar many months ago and today decided to use a different one. Unfortunately, no matter what avatar I select; including the one I was using, just results in a flashing green star type icon. If i cancel out, I get some generic angry space marine type face avatar. Can anyone help me?
The Emprah does not want to let you leave the Ultramarines. There are specific size limits for the pictures you can put as your avatar, so that might be an issue if you are using too big a picture. Granted i dont know the limit, maybe @KatieFleming can help. Otherwise the process takes some time (least for me), last time i changed it i left the blinking screen for 10 minutes. Then i just turned off the browser and relogged, the avatar was changed.
It seems sometimes it takes some time to upload an Avatar, i.e. longer than it should given upload bandwidth and file size. I had that problem, but after I waited patiently for a couple of minutes the Avatar appeared where the flashing green icon was. Perhaps there's a bug involved.
I dont know if your being serious because you see something because to me its empty am i having my chain yanked ?
What format are you trying to upload? I checked your account in the back end and don't see your avatar uploaded (which is weird, because it should revert to the default).
Im trying to use a mobile device which worked before hand but now if i attempt to upload a picture it no longer works and ive trued my pc as well and likewise ive remained a ghost.
