?

Are you interested in testing/playing with the Devs on the latest build?

  1. I'd want to play but not test.

  2. Not interested.

  3. Sign me up!

  4. I would be interested but the time of the test is an issue.

Yeah, one of this examples would be Maugan Ra, shooting full auto from shuriken cannon and every singular shot being landed on different target and being a precise kill shot.

The only singular Eldar weapon that is known for lack of precision is shuriken catapult, not even avengers one, but regular guardian gun, everything else is as good as the wielder and they happen to have millenia of training in the aspect shrines with them.

@jbregg if I may, I would like to make a series of suggestions to complement the current UAT-build (I will refrain from anything Banshee-related)

-Remove heat-generation from the Falcon's secondary firing mode or lower it severely, so it may fire almost indefinitely.
-Increase the damage dealt by the Falcon's primary firing mode so the TTK on a Predator is on-par or a maximum of one heating-phase different to a Predators TTK on a Falcon.
-Raise the amount of projectiles fired by the Wave-Serpents main turret, simultaneously increasing the DPS and suppression for better self-defense, including against long-ranged AV.
-Normalize the baseline amount of fuel for Hawks to the same found on other Jump-classes.

If the same is done to plasma rapid-fire, to make it accurate to 8th edition plasma
It's evasion and ease of escape makes it have higher survival than just a numbers-based survival-stats account for.
No, just, no. It shouldn't have suppression, at all. It's a transport, not a AV-tank.
Then make it even slower fuel regen. The reason for having 1 charge is the insane duration-of-flight and speed-of-flight it has. It's not comparable to other jump-classes, as it's by far a much better jump-pack even once it got 9sec fuel regen default.

Wave-serpent guns already have suppression, also how would that make it an 'AV-tank'?
It has been my vision for quite some time to see roadkill gone and the weapon-systems buffed for a net balance of 0 but a less frustrating means of dying (also the need for a gunner, as any, other tank).
The specifics of the buff can be discussed ofc, but there should definitely be something.
Neither roadkill nor tank-weapons have- or will have a major impact on balance.

As for the Hawk...fair is fair. We trade the same 300 EHP for a jetpack as you +300 more for 50 health and 50 for the lack of a secondary weapon.
Normalizing both fuel-regen and fuel-backup is more than appropriate. Pretty sure regen right now is actually slower, which is fine to further balance out supreme mobility but 100LP worth of fuel are surely not asked too much?

"we trade the same 300 EHP for a jetpack as you", I play all the factions.. which is why I argue that hawks are clearly not comparable to other jump-classes..
Fuel charges are 200LP, not just 100. The value of a fuel charge for a hawk has much more inherent value over a arc-jump fuel charge of other factions. One has the ability to fly nearly endlessly at high speeds, the other can barely remain in the air for maximum of 4-5 sec when going from an incredibly high point on the map that you have to use multiple charges to get to in the first place.. Hawk is not even remotely comparable to other factions, even after the 9-sec fuel regen on UAT it's still vastly superior overall in terms of what the inherent value is of the given charge.
Optimally the fuel system would be redesigned completely to a fuel-gauge style system, so it didn't use a set amount of movement by pressing the key once.. but rather amount moved is dependent on how much fuel the player chooses to expend/can expend with remaining available fuel. And in that sense, you could have hawks using less fuel just to get airborne (even if just enough to get the feet off the ground, it would allow for gliding away), and also allow greater height of jumps for the other factions, rather than that blisteringly stupidly useless in-air use of a whole charge for that little fart of movement that happens.
  8. why you speak this obvious things?

i guess Colin who have no problems at all needs to kick your ass and limit your access to computer gaming

Other JPAs have strong melee weapon that can even destroy vehicles. Hawks have knife.
Other JPA can instantly reposition themselves in combat up to 4 times and can stun multiple foes. Hawks can go up.
Other JPAs can assault and disrupt extremely effectively heavy weapon positions in small rooms in assault maps, Hawks can't.
JPAs can actually survive 3 bullets. Hawks can't.

See, I can also pick exclusively strong sides of a class while ignoring all the bad ones to make it look too strong.

The only thing making you PERCEIVE them as broken is your inability to look up, look at minimap or aim most accurate weapon in game - bolter.

You forgot that JPA's pistol has more Dps than every Hawk gun
