  4. I would be interested but the time of the test is an issue.

    Why is this supposed to be a spoiler? EC reached that point way back in Summer 2017. What do you think where all the anti-dev sentiment on the forum comes from????

    Now. Where do we start?

    @Pierrick Boltgun again.
    I did not get to test it, unfortunately, but: I think its closing in on a solid, final state.
    The current DPS-loss seems reasonable for the higher Damage/Shot. The other nerfs were all justified and sensible.
    The weapons seems playable but less dominating than before. We saw a lot of Stalkers, Melee and Devastators doing very well during the playtests and thats good. No Storm-Bolters tho.

    @jbregg Carmine Ascent...
    For starters, the map itself needs more cover everywhere. Right now, long range weapons seem to be dominating, especially on B and C.

    A was fine. It is actually one of the more interesting points I have ever seen because there was no, clear battle-lines drawn. The fight just waved around, both teams flanking each other from all directions.
    Maybe this settles a bit once everyone gets used to the layout but I found that very interesting and refreshing.

    B was also good. B is a breaking-point. Either you can make it inside and you will take it very quickly (like we did in all, three offenses), or you will get stuck, not being able to attack it properly (like when LSM attacked) and likely never take it.
    The 3.5 attack-vectors make it ok to attack, the high-ground around the point makes it great for Hawkfence.
    The bridge seemed a bit too exposed IMO. 2-4 heavies and snipers can clear just about everything that comes out that Rhino.
    The vector up upon the upper level of the B-point could use a tiny bit of cover on the attacker-side.

    C...now C has a lot of problems.
    Lets start outside:
    -The two, main ways into the courtyard are too easy to camp. The pipe is nothing but a killing-zone.
    -The courtyard itself is ok, if it wasn't for that window up over C. That window has to go!
    Either remove it completely or make it a balcony so Hawks can get up behind it. This is a camping-spot like Harkus top only with less room to maneuver around it, less cover and closer to the ground.

    The second layer is still pretty bad. IMO, the defender should have less spots to shoot at the defender from behind, for instance coming up the stairs.
    The new flank on the right side helps with that. Pretty sure we would have succeeded with the first assault if we noticed it earlier.
    I am really not sure tho if C can fall to anything but a coordinated, communicating team. Time is also short if you didn't bring any from B.

    The attacker-spawn is a bit far away.

    Playing it with a combo of either LSM/CSM/Orks will yield about the same outcome-value effectively, with minor shifts based around a few faction specialized unique things. Eldar add an incomparable element with swoops, stealthing units via scorpions and heavy rapid damage output up close from TLSC vs heavy-classes (negating heavy-class ready-time and killing them before they can respond... if those are defending).

    Generally heavy-classes are useless for attackers on the new map

    @Pierrick Hope a scythe is being made for sorcs as well, so nurg-sorcs can have one

    I hope you realize the reason eldar vehicles have lower health is because of how versatile they are and how hard it is to kill them..

    That is literally what they have already done on UAT except all melta-bombs are being nerfed and all vehicles get a health-buff.

    It changes nothing tho. An undefended or haywired Rhino will still go up in flames, a moving Rhino will remain safe and a Wave-Serpent will still get torn apart by Lascannons.
