I really don't understand why Nurgle raptors have to be that good. Don't missunderstand me, of course I know some people just prefere their gods and/or want balance, but why are people again back to balancing classes!? Wasn't it always "balance factions, not classes"? It is totally obvious that if you play Khorne, it is best to go either Havoc with the heavy bolter, or to go melee(usually ground assault) with Khorne blessed Chainaxe. And going as sorcerer with .......... well. The same way Khorne has it's faults, Nurgle should not only lack advantages for Raptors, but simply be a bad choice to go with as Raptor. Especially considering: Nurgle units lack speed - Raptors are meant to be mobile Raptors are supposed to be light units - Nurgle units rely on tanking It already was a bad choice to swap to speed penalty to a stamine regen. penalty (since most avarage players don't give a **** for Stamina anyway) making it kinda op. Why force something that's nonsensical. I know it sounds stupid, but Nurgle Raptors should remain a bad units. I still don't get why Plaque knife shouldn't be MoN restricted,
We are talking about Jpa's , they can apply the dot to everyone packed in the ground slam , but still slannesh Raptor is as good as a JPA
I replied using tabletop because @Ondora asked "Is it inacurate to WH40k?" My reply in that vein was because while Apos CAN carry bolters in TT, they are not as prevalent or effective in army comp and so 1 bolter more or less results in AT MOST 1-2 extra die on the table as opposed to in an FPS where we could drop a 30-stack of Apos if we really wanted to so there's no comparison. The subject there was more about inaccuracy to 40k than screaming about muh TT. Sorry if there was confusion.
my bad then i didnt read Ondora's post , but yeah comparing both tt and ec is a bad idea Make nurgle reduce walk run speed and every melee shitter will move by spaming fast attack because it will be faster than runing , good idea..
