There would have been other ways apart from messing with TTK to promote those "skins", although in the broader sence MC weapons always had a slightly faster TTK due to their increase buffs to accuracy/recoil/spread all minimally influencing and reducing TTK. Base Ammo/Reloadspeed or Durability and Durability regen would have been not a single bit invasive. On the otherhand 100 extra LP on a 300 LP gun could even give you some -small- extra bang since you trade those LP away from your own survivability. Moar Dakka less tank. Just selling us the stuff we had for a higher price now doesnt really get me all excited. Especially since they made it sound in the twitch show like they really wanted to buff them to get us hyped about it. That's not what people are asking for at all....what they're asking for is for the RTC weapons to be cosmetic only.
An easy way to make heavy weapons worth 100 lp mastercrafted is to make them reload/cool down a little faster. Also not sure if making guns Orky is the way to balance the game. But I approve none the less.
