As far as i know, that's not intended, so it should get resolved & Hearpiercer shouldn't bypass shields Honestly, i think the weapons sounds better then it really will be. It's just a bolter with 110 Pen, one that you can't attach mods to. On a 1v1 fight... nothing changes. 2v1 fights rarely have opponents run in lines towards you (they stand next to each other to gun you down at the same time) It will be usefull if someone bodyblocks the capper (unless he has a shield) or in PvE, when you multikill nids running towards you. Those 100 LP extra for the heartpiercer arn't worth it imho. Especially without drum-mags, accuracy grips, CQC Barrel or toggle-able scopes EDIT: ALSO! Mind, you will have to be verry carefull to not TK allies standing behind your enemy, when i think of it...
That fusion gun sounds beast, going to main it with a single bomb for sure I can prefire around corners and go after multi tanks if empty much more effectively
Quite a few small changes, like Shrines using "banners" instead of "helmets" now and the Rank 6 symbol being "silver" now. Also, there is a new "Revered Rune" for the Swooping Hawk it seems (I had to unlock it again). 8 new Unique Weapons, 2 for each Faction. I assume the screenshots of them have already been uploaded, if not, then I have them all except the Burny Syringe. The Fuegan's Resolve seems to be useful, but I doubt it will be better than 2x Melta Bombs unless you go primarily for Anti-Infantry, also, you need to bring an ammo pack I reckon, as you can only fire three full bursts with it This Fusion Gun could use a more "red-ish" beam, to fit with the overall look of the weapon. The new Reaper Launcher is broken and doesn't fire a 3 shot burst ^^ The new Darth Maul (LSM Mace) seems to be rather powerful against Eldar, OHK to the front Really, 236.5 damage to the front with a strong attack (354 to the back of a Tyranid)? "No OHK weapons my behind"... The Orkz just got a super useless Lascannon... 1.5 second charge up to deal 200 damage to all in a straight line... Much useful, such wow. To compare, the Burning Light Lascannon have a 1 second charge up and deals 471 damage to one opponent over a short amount of time (a very few seconds)... I don't really get the new Burny Syringe... It costs 200 LP, have the same stats as the regular Syringe but with 30 Heat (Ablaze Ailment) instead of 33 Poison. Is that really worth 150 LP? You can get a Syringe with 50 Poison for 150 LP after all. Note: 30 Heat = 100 damage, so a fast attack with a Burny Syringe deals 189 damage to a Nid, while a Nathecium with the Poison Mod deals 158 damage (69 of those ignores armor). Also, there are a Smart Sicky Slugga now (which doesn't work)!
It would be more effective against Eldar and Mark of Nurgle since they have poison resistance I guess
Trying to work out what they are hoping to achieve from the CSM bolter. 1. Its identical to a standard bolter only it piercers 2. Certain players are going to be removed for team killing 3. It doesn't have a stat downside! Like Abaddons Grace it is Just better then the standard 4. It cant be modded (but it can kill multiple people at a time!)
Its almost like it works out cheaper if you count the mods on the regular bolter... How will people pack this weapon into there loadouts....
Almost all of this sounds good, but...have they really not touched TTK? That was my only actual complaint with 1.3!
That and horribly broken melee mechanics. All finally coming to light due to lower TTK which shines a light on the slow death of melee via small nerfs to multiple melee mechanics over the last 8 months or so.
