Because it does less damage. Has less penetration. Costs more. Is put on a slower character, with all kinds of animation bugs. Playing a Slaanesh Havoc is such a step forward.

All I know is from personal experience, I get more kills with it than the autocannon.

    Two more games:

I haven't had a game under 30 kills with it. It is a consistent killer, suppresses. It's a monster. Again I don't want it nerfed, I use it, but it is better than the Autocannon.

Also speed don't mean jack for a Loota/Havok/Dev, positioning is key.

yeah sorry lol, was just thinking of what kinda weapon we could get with the power of the AC/Ace Dakka/SB.

I can sorta agree with Remo, a drop to where it's a 3 shot weapon, or two to the head on a 250hp character would probably make it ok

They just nerfed the AC's unbraced fire. Recoil is massive and spread is noticeable.

Braced fire has no recoil or spread.
    Safreadis likes this.

Just tested, it is the same as usual. 120 damage, slow RoF, slow projectile speed. Only change is charged fire walk speed.

    I guess that is something.

IDK if it's been documented anywhere but the Melee damage has been reduced from live.

    Weapon - Fast - Strong
    Live
    Knife - 94 - 159
    Sword - 113 - 192
    Axe - 132 - 224
    Mace - 122 - 208
    Fist - 250 - 2,000

    UAT
    Knife - 79.3 - 134.9
    Sword - 100 - 170
    Axe - 117 - 198
    Mace - 107.5 - 182.75
    Fist - 205 - 1,640

The clang damage has also been tweaked I only took down the fast/strong attack damage.

This is the general weapon tiers and applies to all factions.

Since no one is mentioning this, here is something interesting:

    Reaper Launcher

    No cooldown on starshot.

Starshot below 51 meters deals only 1200-1400 dmg randomly, above 51m it deals full 2000.

That is very interesting balance approach, which I approve.

@Dakiaris it was mentioned in the very first post :p everyone except Eldar got dmg reduction on melee weapons-Eldar kept theirs, because they are more squishy.
  8. Asyran Eldritch Arkhona Vanguard

    Starshot has a cd still.

And the damage you are mentioning is false, its random because of dummy hitbox, I'm getting 1650, 1707 etc.
  9. Lerdoc Katitof Well-Known Member

Well, I'm still NOT having any cooldown on starshot and can fire one after another, just like on live.

Edit: Ok, apparently MC one and (alt) one are not changed, there is CD on the basic one.

Are you using the alt Reaper Launcher?
