Renewer chain was removed long ago. It has a tiny AoE around the target that heals even slower and has a range of about 2m.
Ah, then i was confusing the visual effect. But it does AoE, that's why it is weaker. so the theory maintains.
Maybe if they buffed the AoE or reduced LP price. AoE only has a range of about one model (width of one Eldar).
The only way Renewer would be handy is if it was literally the chaos version, fast single target heal, I have no need for two aoe heals when the other is flat out better for both me and my team and is not clunky to use
Im more of an Embolden sporting kinda Warlock, but im pretty sure the Renewer actually emits an "AoE" from the original target that heals others around too. Not a chain, and certainly not the same AoE range as the Hysterical Frenzy, but i think it still can heal multiple people. EDIT: Read the other replies. Everyones losing armor though, upping the healing rate will do nothing to compensate for that, since you cannot heal armor. You will be healing allies at the same rate.
I meant since everyone will have less armor, you'll need better heals to keep everyone alive, since you'll have less time to heal, or switch between heal targets. So you would need to top them up faster. I know you can't heal armor. Since the damage goes to health faster, i think healing mechanics will need to become faster too. Otherwise most targets will die before getting a chance to be healed
Yet if you up the healing rate you are making another problem, we already have zombie simulators when you use Foul Regeration for example, if you buffed the heal rate on that thing to compensate for armor it would almost make it an invulnerability beam you can channel on allies. I think upping the healing rate is the wrong way to go. What should happen instead imo, is that the actual Warp Charge cost of healing gets lowered, so you can heal for a longer period of time or more often. That way you kill two flies with one stone, since the less Warp Charge consumption will allow for more free Warp Charge to use on casting your offensive powers, which currently are fighting for Warp Charge with heals.
That was already another problem that i was thinking about too. Imba ass offensive spells, but no charge to use them, as you'd be too busy healing all the time.
So I haven't watched the stream nor will I have time to. What changes are they making to Autocannons?
