If Scorps are supposed to be as tough and armored as SMs according to law, should we perhaps actually make bolter rounds the miniature mini self-propelled rockets they are in the lore? The list goes on and on...its often easier to work from TT than from lore, cus lore varies greatly across editions and different authors
There is literally nothing to suggest any eldar is as tough as a space marine, let alone TT. Space marines are orders of magnitude tougher, stronger, and more resilient than any Eldar. Beginning with more dense bone structure, heavier musculature and redundant organs, down to more novel adaptations like poison resistance and the ability to survive briefly in a vacuum.
JA will be fine, they always were. Until IFrames on jumps will be accidently removed you can half their health, like it used to be and they will still be enjoyable and playable. Nerf to supports armor, on the other hand, is completely not fun and punishes class to its previous healbot state.
It just means that Reapers, Dragons and Scorpions should have more armour than Dire Avengers. That's all. However Banshees are a different matter though.
This is true, but an Eldar is supposed to be more resilient than a regular human (i.e. Imperial Guard) yet shares their Toughness. It's a challenging system. I'd be up for Eldar having considerably less health, but about the same armour. This doesn't seem to be what we're seeing in UAT though. The Eldar classes are losing out in all categories: They have less health They have less armour They have less toughness They do less damage* *factoring in their relative toughness This is not a tenable position to hold, so something has to budge.
