I hope biomechanics are accounted for the tyranids' animations.

For example, they showed a sneak peek of the Hormagaunt's animations.

The tail looked woobly. Tails of that kind (thinking about theropoda) are rather rigid and used as a counterweight to maintain balance. Of course a tyranid is not a dinosaur, but if you think about the way it moves, it makes sense that it uses the tail to balance against the weight of the head and the scythes.

I'm sure those are not the final animations (WIP WIP WIP), but it's a small detail I wanted to be noted.
  2. I think they were going to be fox-like, how they would bound a little and go side to side a bit. That would be cool, I like the current animations they have shown, but I think they need to be a bit more, alien, not normal for any species we know of.
  3. Since they said they had hired a guy for the Tyranid animations the motions will certainly change.
I'm hoping the gaunt and genstealer siced Tyranids will be somthing like the aliens in the old Alien vs Predator game, Fast, Deadly and Everywhere.
