If anything Sisters of Battle are the 'closest' thing to female space marines, but I don't even know if they're in the lore anymore. All I remember is how expensive they were. By closest I mean, armor and such. Since they weren't that large.
.... i was going to say we should just consider space marines Z chromosome but i just read up that such a statement would make a space marine a bird, fish or crustacean. A male one at that. Apparently they go zz or zw
Where has this been sourced. I have never read in ANY book that in the current year of 40k or in any previous that they are going extinct. gene seeds have their flaws. but they are not going away as long as apothecaries do there job... if you have the source please show me because im very unsure that is actually happening... i mean.... the alst founding was "The Twenty-Sixth Founding is the latest Founding of Space Marine chapters, taking place in 738. M41" And the ultramarines keep pumping out new chapters there is no sign of them going extinct :X
What if a space marine identified as female? Would that be enough for everyone upset about unequal representation? Edit: Rule 63
