I'm sure that most people do get this bug, but I thought I would check just encase I'm doing something wrong. Sometimes when i throw a grenades by just pressing the grenades button (G) my guy just holds the grenade in his hand and doesn't throw it. hell just stand there with the grenade in his hand, Not ticking with the reticule for throwing it. this also happens when i hold down the grenade button sometimes. When i hold and release it instead of just pressing the grenade button he still will sometimes just hold it in his hand. the only way to get out of what i assume is a bug animation is to roll or melee. Its not a major bug (depending on your stance as this is a simple aspect of the game that should just work) but as you can image it can be annoying for me, the people around me and can cause many unnecessary deaths/ friendly fire or casualties as this happens 1/4 times i either quick throw or aim a grenade, it just stick in my guys hand. Does anyone else get this bug as often as me? i feel like this is such a basic aspect of the game that is still buggy as hell and cant see why its not been dealt with. Let me know
I have heard eldar have some bugs (Fire Dragon if I remember correctly) that if you press the grenade button too fast it bugs out and ghost consumes the second nade. Not too sure about other buts as I only play Chaos.
I break this by just doing a melee attack (great way cancel any grenade toss too btw). Thankfully it doesn't happen all that often.
Recently I'm getting issues with the accuracy of the grenade targeting, particularly if you're trying to bounce it. It's only happened since the last patch but it's basically not going where you aim it
The fire dragon melta bomb bug can be avoided by not pressing G key too fast. If you press g and hold, place u bomb and wait for a second or two, the do the same process you can usually avoid the second bomb disappearing from your inventory. Needless to say it's still an annoying bug, but it's probably a good thing so fire dragons can't drop both bombs in 2 seconds and run.
My weird experiences with grenades: Holding them instead of throwing Putting them back into the pocket instead of throwing Throwing both grenades at once (can be useful on occasion) 'Nade detonates on impact (mostly when you want it to bounce off) 'Nade does not detonate at all
