I am tired of listening to interviews and hearing this word in regards to this game. There is zero transparency with regards to this game, but we are constantly bombarded with this word. They haven't told us anything that any gamer wouldn't already know about a game in progress. They try to coddle us with words that will appeal to our loyalty to the 40k universe. Most of this forum is made up of diehard fans. I've played every 40k game that has been released, the good and the bad. I still to this day play Space Marine multi-player even though it is possible the most lag-filled shooter I have ever played. I don't care though, because I want that 40k experience. Stop taking advantage of our loyalty. Don't tell us about all this amazing information that will come out at E3, and then act like you didn't know you were not going to have "air time" at E3. Do you really expect us all to believe that the E3 events are not planned ahead, that somehow the day of, the week before, or even the month before you didn't know that there wasn't going to be any "air time?" Ok....so now we wait for this new website that will have so much information, right? Maybe it will have a couple of trailers for us to look at, perhaps some information on the races/talents/hero classes in an effort to make us as fans feel comfortable with the level of "transparency" you claim to be giving us. You really want to be transparent? Stop feeding us bull shit, we understand if you don't get huge E3 hype, that maybe this game isn't going to be the biggest hit of the 2015. We don't care, we care about this game, we care so much most of us are willing to give it blind faith with zero information. Look at how loyal some of the people on this forum are to a game/company that has done very little to deserve it. You want to be transparent? Stop lying, stop withholding information and stop acting like we don't understand what is going on. There is not a person on this forum that isn't familiar with how gaming companies work. You want us to be loyal? Try being loyal to us.
Since I haven't been paying that much attention to this game this last few months I cannot argue with you. The thing is though, the MMORPG.com-video that was posted a few months ago certainly wasn't "bullshit". It was one of the most honest videos I've ever seen being released with a developers blessing. I'm giving the devs the benefit of doubt for a few more weeks, if nothing has been released (and the info continues to be vague once Founders is released) I'll just move on to another game. At least until release, when I'll give EC another look. And stop being so full of rage. Smoke some weed (if it's legal), get a blowjob and be happy. No reason to get so mad about a computer game that you haven't even paid for yet. WAAAAAAGH, The Warboss.
i've followed quite a few games, and from my experience you don't find pre-alpha gameplay material, a steady flow of concept-art and devs being very active on the forums (and taking actual input from it) too often. so... i can not agree with your post at all, to say the least.
The only thing I disagree is the founders pack so early. Thats a big leap of faith if I want to buy the most expensive edition. We only have informatio about the game. And concept art and a couple alpha videos. I will need a bit kore before I buy because honestly the only thing going for the game right now is ita 40k ip. And it doesn't even have what I want. And to be honest concept art and alpha videos I saw alot of other games doing that. This is nothing new.
Just because it starts on 25, Noone forced to buy any of the packs. It is available until the closed beta start, which means you will have plenty of time, and information to decide you want to spend money on it, or not. I wont comment on the OP.
Guys pls just like disappear into the warp until next week. There is literally no point arguing now. Shit happened, they couldn't stream, we got some basic info and they have given us a deadline to be 'sold' on the game. So from now till the 25th, sit back and enjoy the ride. You will make your decision with your money on the 25th.
I find your aggression unwarranted. The high level of engagement we have with the devs is very unusual. Are you seriously asserting that there is a conspiracy regarding this, or is this merely a rhetorical device? What did they lie about, exactly?
Unrealistic expectations OP They've been more "transparent" than any game dev I've seen. Pre-alpha footage, access to the devs themselves on the forums on a consistent basis, input for development from, members of the community... What more do you want? There is hardly zero information as you claim, but the truth of the matter is the game is not far along enough in development yet to show what you are expecting. I suspect you cannot be satisfied short of them uploading their design documents and leave a copy of the game available to the public for testing at anytime even from Alpha to launch... As for the E3 comment, stuff happens, dunno what to tell you. Even these "pro" organizations have miscommunication and mistakes. I find it hard to believe this is some conspiracy to spite the fans. Just woosa bro...wooooooosaaaaaaa...
