OFF topic And some people get angry when u write fk u in chat .... but sometimes i use it as a banter ... i mean u didnt get angry in mad nomads threads when i said things to ya did ya .... but some do get angry On topic - I dont find much of toxicity in game right but iy will be a problem when the game launches ..... There will be a report function which will help us a bit .... And i also want kill and death ratio in game makes me show them off
Well, its a free world and you can behave as you wish Some consequences of your mentioned behaviour: 1. You wount own a respected guild. 2. Unrespected guild probably wount have very good players (as people who care about the game and are good at it are not trash talkers usually). 3. Without good players you will be stomped in-game, you will spend your time mostly running from spawn point again and again). 4. Your members will leave your guild and will try to join any other. So there wount be any complaints from other players about behaviour of your guldies because you will have none. And community is not stupid to pay attention to such guys who constantly talk shit - they will be ignored and forgotten at the moment they write something.
RPing won't safe you from the banhammer once we have a poppa report or autodetect system ingame Just saying^^
Though, I support that anyone playing an Ork and not talking in character receive a ban hammer for not being proppa!
Meh, after playing a whole 7 hours in the worlds shortest weekend beta in Overwatch, I think we're doing good so far. I rarely see shit talking in games here...Overwatch however...well..that was just sad considering it was a beta full of people who had never played the game yet and STILL felt the need to shit talk/bad mouth teammates. I think EC MIGHT actually end up with a slightly more mature acting crowd then a typical FPS.
Played the overwatch Beta as well. First 3 games was nothing but people screaming Noob, You ever Play a FPS Before, go back to candy crush etc. This was before the game even started. I am impressed the game hit League of Legends levels of toxic before even being released, lol. EC is no where near that point yet.
Most of EC guilds have pretty strict rules of public behaviour and that usually restricts members from cursing and trashtalking. So I hope it wount be a problem along with ability to mute guildless casuals (to mute not a certain character, but account).
I seem to do a lot of suppression and support fire my KD isn't great, assists would be nice, as would heals, as would revives, as would repairs and ammo support (included under other support perhaps) If they are going to have a leaderboard, make it a leaderboard not just a KD board. Otherwise yeah I don't think it helps foster teamplay.
"Most of EC guilds have pretty strict rules of public behaviour and that usually restricts members from cursing and trashtalking." Just to add onto this, there are also some guilds/legions/chapters that also have rules and try to promote professional engagement. The guild I am in discourages spawn camping and going or fast capping in low population games, so there are certainly some guilds out there that certainly try to make the experience of EC. "So I hope it wount be a problem along with ability to mute guildless casuals (to mute not a certain character, but account)" In my experience most negative remarks said in the in game chat seem to come from guildless players, and its not always directed at new players it can also be directed at guild players too. I have played numerous online games that have a "Blacklist" implemented in their game which not only block all contact (voice, text), but also modifies your cue search to avoid ending up in a match with them again. So I think it is certainly possible for EC to implement something similar.
I for one will not budge to the upper class and keep playing what I myself find to be fun (incidentally also being the worst loadout available ingame), even if I die horribly and perhaps too often. But I do get a little annoyed every time a fight breaks out in the chat because someone gets mad at people in videogames. Being frustrated can be understandable, but screaming at people in the chat just makes you come off as a baby with no temper-control. And people who write in some smirksome manner each time they kill someone and does the trollyrolly 'git gud' memes make me think of myself back when I was 13. The worst kind of nostalgia. Buuuuut, really, just don't humour them, play with friends and screw around and you'll find yourself enjoying the game much more if toxicity like that is keeping you away.
