it's a truth of tecnology: when porn industry chose a format/tecnology that tecnology prevail over competitors.
  3. think about just howw much stuff you can wreck in you living room

So, to answer the first question, we will not be developing anything for porn. We feel that it excludes effective marketing to the gaming market, simulation market, and pretty much any other market if we're simultaneously offering a sex toy. That being said, NullSpace hardware comes with a free and easy to use SDK for developers, and what you create for NullSpace technology yourself is your business.

For the guy who's worried about VR damage to your eyes, keep in mind that the oculus is not the first VR headset! They've actually been around for decades in the military and medical industries, and there hasn't been any kind of scientific acknowledgement of any vision damage during that time. All the same, just keep in mind you can use our suit without VR, you'll just be watching your avatar act out your movements on the television.

And for the speculation about what this could be used for, we've been reached out to by the VA (immersion therapy for PTSD), the lead training manager at Kennedy Space Center (astronaut training), and even representatives from the nuclear industry for teleoperation. Just cause we're starting in gaming doesn't mean we'll stay there.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I knew I could count on you.

It looks like something that should be very expensive. Almost like one of those things I want to buy but can't because I don't have two nickles to rub together.

Virtual Reality is definitely going to be big in the near future. Still, I didn't expect to actually touch virtual reality for quite a while.
  8. On first glance, I was stunned to hear UCA Rochester was doing something groundbreaking and creative, and that a town which is halfway between London and the Dark Ages had become a pioneer of VR technology.

Then I thought "I wonder if Rochester was another place that the Americans nicked when they ran out of ideas for what to call their towns..."

    Answer: yes, apparently so.

Really funky VR tech, by the way. Best of luck with it.

Thanks, man. Yeah, we're at the University of Rochester, in NY. But even if we can't come up with original city names I hope we can at least bring you guys some original tech.
