at first its sorta funny, but it got old real quick. i played a lot with the ptolemeic egyptians, and on those coastal towns i only had 5 ballistas and two sword units, no matter what size army would come over the sea, none of their ships would make it to land.
Will this be set in the new Canon though? I like the High Elves, but I hate Mali more then my desire to see Swordmasters being Swordmasters.
Hey, some fast answers for you folks, but first, I've just got to point out: Y'all realize it's the first game in a triology, right? Empire, Dwarfs, Vampire Counts, and Greenskins confirmed as playable for release of the first game. Confirmed fro being pre-End Times. (Karl Franz era*, specifically.) *Apparently time has nothing to do with anything. There are no years or dates tracked, and they are irrelevent to the game. Naval combat confirmed for NOT appearing in the first game. According to CA, each game in the trilogy will function as both a standalone and an expansion, adding races and new areas of the map. Hopefully, they'll also add new mechanics as time goes on, but we don't have confirmation on that yet so we'll see. I would highly suggest that those who want to stay up to date head over to the Total War Center forums. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?2130-Total-War-Warhammer Edit: It was also confirmed quite a while ago that there will be no official mod support coming from CA.
So they're working this on the Starcraft 2 Theory. It's not the worst thing ever I suppose but I'm still waiting for SC2.3 several years later...
I can live with this. If they bring it out fairly close to one another. I love star craft 2 and the story line But the wait in between is really starting to bug me.
So pumped for this game, Angry said he was his number 2 game at E3. He saw footage and said it was just mind blowing. Hype train...
