There's very few spots for HB... If you noticed when you look over the sides of most of the ramparts in the bases, you can't aim your gun over the ledge.

Again because they still haven't fixed the camera to stop coming from the centre of the character.

Also again, they just flat out need to go back to learning how to design levels and defences. This is getting dumb. You can't access the roofs of buildings which is silly (no ladders or anything). There's no good pill boxes or bunkers that provide a decent line of sight.

And the kicker: Attackers still have very little cover to work with.... Also stop with these instant elevators that force you to go through an animation at the top. You're dead before you can even move your character again.

If you redeploy you won't get a "suicide". Just press ESC and Redeploy :)

    Thanks for this tip :)

I'm kinda disliking the new map.
-Currently there can't be enough teamwork to fulfill the needs of the new map.
-Torias C feels structurally too much like Olipsis B.
    -Runs kinda unreliably
-low amount of attacker cover where it's actually needed (The uphill battle to A etc.)

The map seems to be decent, the problem is it's way too big to defend with just 16 players. And it feels as soon as Attackers take Bravo the game is practically over because it's rather easy to lock the attackers into their spawn. More numbers would probably improve this. Now as for Vehicles, The nerf will probably make a huge difference sooner rather than later. I'd recommend a way to repair them a little more reliably since they have such a long cooldown, but can be ripped apart somewhat easily.

Love the size of the map, finally makes vehicles useful beyond a spawn point.

FPS is literally the worst unfortunately, I can't even play with my shitty computer. Just when I could finally play the other maps with reasonable FPS, this happens.

I think they need to raise the minimum requirements for this game, mine is well within spec but can't run this game reliably at all.
  7. Hopefully I'll do a proper, in depth look at the map at some point.

    In the meantime...

  8. These small pipes surrounding A point are like speed bumps for Space Marines. If you sprint over them, you'll stop and "fall" briefly on the other side.

Also the mag lifts near A point are a bit inconveniently placed, at least for the one going down. More than once I've suddenly found myself being pulled down to the lower level.

This structure outside C point does not have any collision from the sides or on top.

My FPS is around 15-25 at any given point. Usually its 40-60 on the other maps. Whether this is just new map optimization (like Pegasus) or a result of the rain is of yet to be seen I guess.
    Galen and Gotrek40k like this.
  9. Other then it seems too dark, it's really good
  10. I'm not giving it a thumbs down, but it needs work. At one point (playing Chaos) I died, then spontaneously regenerated, but couldn't move. All I could do was lay there on the ground twitching like I was having a seizure. Redeploy just gave me a full bleed-out skull, which drained like I was being healed by a sorc, but still, there I was, twitching away in my epileptic fit. Four redeploys, no help, so I had to exit and rematch.
There are also a LOT of places where I expected to be able to vault but couldn't, and even a few places where I got the vault prompt, but still couldn't.
I also spawned inside the gears at C, but was able to roll out of them.
That said, I am not having the performance hit I see a lot of people talking about, fps seem to be fine for me, but I don't have my fps displayed at all, so I can't quantify any change.
The rain is pretty cool, and the sheer size of the map makes it kind of fun, but kind of sucky as well... When I miss the transport and have to hoof it across the map, I have plenty of time to get anxious about where the bolts are going to start coming from, which is kind of exhilarating, but if I have to wait too long for them to show up, it just feels like running across the whole damn continent, like WOW before I got my first mount.
My wife was running around, unable to die (also playing Chaos). She was just killing everybody and constantly healing. If someone downed her, she couldn't bleed out, because she was healing faster than that. While in that state, her K/D stats did not ever change. Eventually, she got stuck in the terrain next to the elevator on C, couldn't redeploy, and had to exit out. She had trouble shooting over the sandbags at A as well.

I think the map has a lot of potential, but there are some odd bugs (Chaos Undying) and obvious areas for improvement (vault/no-vault areas, sandbags, spawning inside stuff).
