well this is kinda confusing we have threads like http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/r-i-p-warhammer-age-of-reckoning.4982/ and then we have threads like http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/r-i-p-my-little-girl.5485/ thats why i said that there shouldnt be a R.I.P. section because people will troll or create stupid threads and because i feel it shouldnt be here but since it is here i will respect serius threads but i will mock or troll not serius threads
I honestly don't get the point of this forum. With all sympathy to those who lost someone, it is beyond me while you would feel the need to loudly shout out his or her death at a random gaming forum, at least so long as said person was not involved with the game per se.
I agree with this. If you lose someone dear to you, that's bad, but telling everyone on the Internet about it just makes you troll bait. Furthermore, the Internet being the Internet, most people simply do not give a fuck (and, presumably, never will). Allow this pie chart to illustrate: All things considered, I must vote in favour of the removal of the RIP forum section.
Sadly this^ Now that I think about it, isn't this entire thread in the wrong place anyway? Its not R.I.Ping something nor is it remembering some lost person/object/thingamajigger. Should be more in the general or off-topic discussions, even suggestions at the least.
The existence of this thread practically begged for joke threads to come, really. This is the internet, after all. Also, as has been already pointed out, this thread has nothing to do with anyone or anything dying, so it should be moved to Off-Topic, or something.
this Section was created by anashel starting from a topic about a commemorative steam group for a space natine player. so the Section was about lost players member of the community and similar.
I think it is here to help remind everyone that these are all real people we're talking to. I understand what crazycanadian and others are saying, but this is a place where I think that some people just need to learn to draw a line. If they can't do that here, I don't think they are able to take anything serious and that is just sad. Would you cry about a bad game in the middle of a funeral? Because that is what people are doing.
