The orks were already on UAT. Lets hope everything is fine so Patch can go out on EA. Although I think it will be on friday
They need to take the Blizzard approach and stop giving dates, they get boned every time lol. "Soon" is the proper answer or, it will be ready when its ready. ""Soon" does not imply any particular date, time, decade, century, or millennia in the past, present, and certainly not the future. "Soon" shall make no contract or warranty between Blizzard Entertainment and the end user. "Soon" will arrive some day, Blizzard does guarantee that "soon" will be here before the end of time. Maybe. Do not make plans based on "soon" as Blizzard will not be liable for any misuse, use, or even casual glancing at "soon.""
The silence is deafening though. I get it if it takes longer--we've been waiting for a LONG time already and can handle a few more days. However, I still don't get why someone couldn't pop on and say, "Hey guys, patch isn't going to make it today..."
Pretty much. There is nothing wrong with them finding some blocker issue, but come on, its early access alpha, it should NOT be a secret when extremely highly anticipated patch gets delayed and by how long.
The way they comunicate is just weird. Previous announcement clearly stated that orks are comming in 10th. There was nothing about it being deployed on UAT. Yesterday Katie announced that patch will be deployed on UAT servers and there is nothing about orks. I`ve spend whole day nervously looking at monitor. Everytime i read announcement on steam I have feeling that they are posting without thinking if it is specific for community. Damn... if they don`t know when they can give something they shouldn`t give dates.
Well there was no great "official" announcement for this patch. Only a single forum post stating they want to do it wednesday. As much as i´m a piss poor whiner on this usually in this particular issue i don´t see the problem.
The problem isn't that we haven't got the patch, but the fact that it was intended to be there, it wasn't delivered and bE is silent about it. Simple "we couldn't deploy the EA patch because of sudden blocker issue" would be more then enough. At the moment we don't know if we're supposed to expect the patch or give up on it for the next week or what, we're left in the dark.
It is best if they don't announce patches at all then a lot of people like yourself wouldn't get dissapointed
Where exactly did they announce it this time though? We have one super small forum edit from Brent. "in all likelihood." I would fully agree with you people if we had a steam announcement from nathan like the patches before.
