Honestly, im okay with Wargear beeing more limited !IF! That wargear also feels better. At the moment, you better not go out in the field without at least a better armor and another survival buff, just to compare to everyone else. Maybe in the future, if you bring up the points for a better Armor, you totally feel that you are tankier then before, or if you take that stormbolter, that you are definitly killy-er then someone else. But i guess that's a matter of taste...
I fear that we will all end up as sorcerers [urg duhr!] most of the time it's just better to have moderat damage and good survivability instead of high damage and low/moderat survivability.
Ork recoil has been increased for both shootah and big shootah if we try to aim. Before, recoil was 1.56 with heavy barrel attached. Now it is 2.06 with heavy barrel (for reference, the Rodeo Shootah has 2.00 recoil and is considered unusuable for aiming purposes)
For my money I just don't see 'too much gear' as a thing that really happens or kills the game, for SM at the very least. A loadout is already close to maxed after a gun, armor and your two wargear pieces. One can keep a default or 300lp weapon and pile on a bunch of stuff, sure. But when you start getting into the good weapons they start becoming cost-prohibitive(looking at you, power fist). Really, REALLY hoping that the loadouts at least allow roughly the same level of stuff. I'm not in it to be picking a gun and staring at 8 empty slots because they decided a plasma gun should cost 850lp
Nah, that would even be too restrictive for me But i don't think it's intended to fill every possible loadout-slot. Unless you take something (weak) for everything. But if you want to have an awesome weapon, you have to neglect other options...
I wouldn't mind beeing able to fill out every gear slot regardless if you go dmg or tank heavy. But for that, we would need a lot more war gear. Like really cheap ones, medium and expensive ones. I spent quite a bit time yesterday making some new load outs and it was actually quite interesting to try and find the most satisfying combination. Just give us more war gear, more armour, more trinkets MOAR MOAR MOAR
I think at worst it needs to stay roughly the same, some stuff is already too expensive to really see use. I am going to lose my friggin mind if gun+armor ends up running you to 800-900 lp
