Albert shifted his gaze to meet that of the Commissar dead on. He would briefly break it to look the him up and down, then a second time, and a third as he took his time gauging the man. Each breath letting out a a puff of smoke while the lho stick burnt away, his hand slowly moving up to the pocket with the rest of the lho-sticks in it before closing it just as the Chimera went over the speed bump before taking the more or less spent lho-stick out of his mouth and throwing it out the top hatch.

"If you're still interested in reporting this I'm afraid to say I'm the one you'd be sending it to because at the beginning of the campaign the Valhallan 75th regiment was comprised of one million, twenty two thousand and twenty two men; after a year and a half long campaign against Orks on some world I don't remember the name of it now numbers... nine. Out of these nine I am the only remaining officer." He holds his hand out as if to have it shaken while wearing an exaggerated smile on his face as he continued in a jovial tone, "Corporal Albert Kozlov, acting commander of the Valhallan 75th regiment and praying to the God Emperor himself that I won't have to fill out over a million sets of paperwork for dead Valhallans, including all my superiors before sending a message to the Ordo Militarum explaining why all five thousand Commissars in the regiment bought it as soon as leave is over, and you ar--" The smile on his face quickly changed to a look of worried curiosity as he noticed how dark it was suddenly getting in the Chimera before looking up at the clouds. "That's weird, could have sworn there were no clouds like that when I got here..." He looked back at the Commissar while pointing up with his other hand, his tone suddenly serious, "Is that normal or am I right to be a little worried about those sudden weird clouds, sir?"

Commissar Torgard would listen to the words of the Valhallan before him, hearing his explanations and reasoning, all the while, watching his disobedience. He felt the corner of his lip raise ever so slightly, and had a sense to simply give in to the teachings of his home world, and knock some sense into the man. However, he'd simply ease the burning ire within him, noting that it had been a long time since he'd started serving with the men of Krieg, and that he couldn't expect all other soldiers to act with unfaltering servitude. As such, he'd sit judging the man, before coming to a decision, just as the other started to notice the shifting clouds above.

He'd deal with that in a moment, right now, he needed to sort this audacious trooper out.

Looking down at the extended hand, he'd release his own arm from where it was crossed before his chest. Reaching forward, he'd instead pass by the outstretch formal greeting, leaning forward, towards the man's jacket. He'd noted where the Valhallan had kept withdrawing his Iho sticks from, where he'd buttoned up the remainder of his personal stores. His fingers sliding into said pocket, without a word, his eyes never leaving the man, he'd withdraw the package of the items in question. All the while, he'd be looking for a sign of challenge, a movement in the soldier's eyes, clenching of muscles, anything to tip him off of any aggression. The man, if he was smart, would not attempt to impeded him, yet, he could not just go in without being ready for backlash. Regardless, Torgard was confident in not only his own abilities to handle a single man in combat, but in the abilities of his comrade sitting beside him.

Holding up the packet of Iho sticks infront of the pair, Torgard would swiftly begin to speak towards the Valhallan.

"I must congratulate you on your luck then corporal. It is a daunting task, to be the last surviving members of a regiment that has perished in the service of The God-Emperor, beloved by all. However, to ease the number of prayers being sent to the Master of Mankind, upon his Golden Throne, allow me to allay your fears on your newfound position of command."

He'd move back his hand, placing the packet of Iho sticks within one of his own pockets, his confiscation of the items more than clear. Though he'd been serving with Kriegers for years now, he'd recognize contraband when he saw it, the appearance of the Iho sticks more than apparently made by those in the field, swapped around by soldiers, and most certainly not distributed by the appropriate staff. As it were, he'd make a mental note to check in with the policy of Iho sticks granted to troopers within the regiments of Valhalla when he got the chance, yet for now, he'd be satisfied that the man had been given a clear message to halt in his activities. If he had any more of this contraband on his person, he'd be wise not to reveal it within Torgard's presence for the duration of his stay.

    Thus, he'd continue to speak.

"At your current numbers, I will assume that even now, your papers are being processed, and your old regiment is being disbanded, in favour of providing reinforcements towards another hailing from your world. It will mean a new staff, new comrades, a new beginning for you entirely."

His tone would be calm, yet the undertone of threat would be all but spoken, as the Commissar continued to stare at Albert, his eyes like that of a wolf on the hunt. If the corporal was being transferred over to a new unit, one complete with it's own Commissar, the last thing the man would most likely want, would be the watchful eye and reputation that would come from a bad word put in by Torgard. To be known by the Commissar in battle, was not always a bad thing, yet to be known as a troublemaker, well, Torgard would not dwell on how he'd deal with such a being in his own regiment. Sitting back against his chair, his voice would continue to speak towards the man, never once seeming to rise above the volume of a regular conversation, yet always bearing a weight to it's words.

"I can recall a time when I was first joining my new regiment, after I'd received my position of Commissar, graduating with the blessing of my old mentor, Lord Commissar Falkenauge. Of course, I remember even before that, when I served under my previous mentor, James Hopper. This of course was back when I was training to be a Tempestus Scion."

He'd allow himself a moment to recall those days, of hard training, brutal drill, and combat that would make lesser men drop dead from the sheer exposure. He remembered the times when just that had occurred, when the washouts would be swept away, their carcasses a reminder of the price of failure. The resolve that it only hardened within Brom, each former comrade he lost burning his passion for success brighter. Truly, the ambition of Mankind was a glorious thing, the exemplified in each through the glory of The Allfather himself. A small smile would tug at his lips, as he'd continue, the moment of reflection barely taking a heartbeat within his mind.

"Back then, I served alongside many people, but came to call one of them a true friend. A brother in arms, who I shed blood with, who saved my life, and I his. His name, is Gabriel Orion, and corporal...."

His gaze would harden, the previous flashes of relaxed, even contentment, being pushed aside for the anger that was now on display for the Valhallan to feel in the air. Leaning forward, his hands held, fingers interlocked, beneath his chin, Torgard would speak his next words very softly, his visage and body giving off no sign of aggression, yet his eyes being a window into the fury that burned within.

"You just tossed your dirty addiction onto his nice, new shoes."

He let the words hang in the air there for a moment, allowing for the rumble of the Chimera to be the only sound in the air.

Yet, he'd lean back in his chair, the anger gone, as a smile of his own would come across his face.

"As such, I feel we can get by this little problem in a simple way, so listen carefully, for this is a simple task for you. In light of your disrespecting a superior officer, I am going to have you withdraw your leave pass, and
present it over to Mr.Orion himself."

He'd swiftly motion with a gloved hand towards the big man that sat next to him.

"He will be in control of said pass, and will of course, ensure you behave yourself. Consider him a judge on your ability to be a good soldier, for if you act proper, and dutiful, this will be a relaxing vacation from the front lines. If however, he deems that you have not earned your leave, he will tear up your pass, we will take this Chimera back to the base, and you will be assigned to the duty staff for the remainder of your stay."

With that, he'd nod his head, expecting the corporal to follow through with his commands, satisfied that he'd taken care of the situation properly.

Now, with that stowed away, he'd turn his attentions above, to gaze into the skies, eyes narrowing a fraction. He had been on this world long enough to know this didn't seem natural, yet, he didn't wish to alarm any of the soldiers here. As such, he'd simply bump his elbow into the side of Gabriel beside him, taking a somewhat amused tone.

"Mendus VII, yes that takes me back. Remind me, what was the name of the ship that took us onto that Throne forsaken world?"

Seeing as there conversation somewhat ended and that they would be stopping soon Varrick just assumed it would time to stop soon. "So when we get off do we get a map of the area to use to get around?" Varrick asked deciding to wonder if he would have something to help him get around the town.

Erika got a bit discouraged after seeing the clouds. Her smile vanished and she crept back inside the chimera from the turret spot.
Sure it was just some rain clouds, like they said, right? Right?
She tried to reason her worry with battlefield stress she had already suffered, maybe she was overthinking it.

Moloc jostled out of his seat when the chimera bumped and quickly pulled himself back into it, trying to peer outside some more. He noticed it felt slightly humid but paid no attention to it, instead taking off his helmet and seating himself properly so he could wipe his brow. This felt uneasy.

The Chimera itself started to slow down as the clouds darkened, the Kriegswoman soon sighing. "Apologies - I'm returning to base." She spoke through the Vox to the chimera's occupants, soon swerving and pulling a U-turn, the rearmost Chimera following suite and leading her back.
"The clouds are unusual for this time of year; supposed to be light showers, not thunderstorms." She said, clicking at the voxlink to the other Chimera.
"Jerah; tell the Governor we may have a problem, to abort the meeting. Get to the Armoury in the Town Hall and set it into lockdown for the next forty-eight hours; if no hostile contact is found by then, call it off." She then said.
"Affirmative; will contact you once we reach there." A male voice replied. "Suspicions??"

"Unknown; numerous possibilities." She replied. "...Jonah; once you reach the Town Hall, make your way to the Astropaths. Find out what's causing this."

The other chimeras continued to make their way to the city, eight in total, whilst theirs and one other were returning to base. So much for R&R...

Soon enough, the Valkyrie had a message coming through from the Voxlink; a Kriegsman, the pict-cam on the side revealing from the bumps that he was most probably driving a chimera. "Sir; the clouds. Should we--" The man shook his head almost immediately, and replied, "Negative. VIP's are at the tower. We'll pick them up, and return to base afterwards." He said now, looking to the Astartes with a grimace.
"Going to probably lose alot if these Kriegsmen are wrong about their gut; but the clouds are unusual. If I can, I'll see about having them brought back to base along with us. At least there, we'd have some form of security instead of that blasted tower."

Moloc quickly strapped his helmet on and thumped lightly on the hull of the Chimera. "Officer, will we be reacquiring our weapons?" he yelled towards the cabin of the vehicle, sensing something was wrong when they picked up the pace and turned towards the base. He looked around the interior of the vehicle, trying to read the situation from the more experienced soldiers.

At this newest development, Anis relaxed in the corner of the bumpy transport that he had claimed as his own for the time being. However the falsity of relaxed posture only gave way to the poised deadliness in which Fire Drake found himself in.

He understood the Whiteshield` concerns. ( @OgrynLord )To face death in the line of duty is a common occurrence in his regiment, however to do so without weapons - your own tools, brought shame. On Fornus Lix you would be taken to a deathstill if you survived the ordeal.Your blood-water taken for the tribe, so that your shame may be washed away.

With a careful ease, he caressed the medi-gel that formed a casket around his right leg and left arm.
    So much of those Thrones...

"Of course something unusual would happen now. It is becoming very clear that we may in fact, not have to seek out this threat. Instead, perhaps it shall come to us," Gillian said in a foreboding voice. It has become clear, in his mind anyways, that whatever it was that was coming, would be far more than mere clouds. A look down, towards the terra below, would make the thought of battle on this Paradise World even more unsettling. So many innocent continued living their lives, knowing little more about the darkness within the galaxy. A deep feeling of pity for the humanity of this planet fell upon him, however; it was his current duty to put such thoughts aside and focus on the mission at hand.

He nodded at the mention of picking up the guardsmen, "I would welcome members of the Imperium's Regiments among us. Their loyalty to duty and the Emperor shall reinforce the security...which I fear shall be greatly needed."

@OgrynLord -- The Kriegswoman gave a nod and replied back through the Vox, "Affirmative. No official orders to do so, just--... A gut feeling. If it's a false-alarm, I'll personally see to finding a form of repayment to make up for it."

@matt23 -- The Governor chuckled a bit. "No, I meant the visitors. The ones that we were going to meet at the blasted tower; but I'll say this." He added, his grin fading rather quickly as he leaned over. "If there is any of us that die, these 'guests'; you are to protect them, and help them with their mission, and defend this damned world. If they backstab you, then make sure to bring them to hell with you. But if there's any damned fighting, it's going to be together, against whatever's coming." He warned; the other Astartes looked at each other for a moment before nodding in agreement.
"And remember, bring them back to the Base we were at, and tell them that 'the eagles now hunt with the wolves'. They'll know what to do; and make sure the damned Guardsmen don't kill our guests."
