Yareli moved forward, considering she was the diplomat of the group she made it her own task to welcome newcomers - like she had been welcome once to the group. There was a nod towards everyone, not hiding her healed wound - even though through Morvan's work the only thing that remained was the tear of her robes on her right arm.

"Children of Asurmen!" She started, raising her voice as she approached the duo. (@Wata & @ItsTime ) Theatrically she bowed once standing a mere few feet before them. "My name is Yareli, I am the spokesperson on behalf of the Felarch Iktomi's ship crew of the Arcadia. I see you met two of our crewmembers, communication specialist mamzel Avrielle and the young but curious Exodite Talis. May I learn of who you are, knights of Asur?"

She asked the duo while standing tall and proud, both hands of hers folded in a ceremonial greeting position, her robes slightly moving with the breeze of the world, the snow truly bringing the calm and hopeful Mymearean teals, blues and greens out while her topaz choker of Lugganath as always was a complete contrast of radiating warmth an power.

  2. @Jorimel | Remembering what she'd said to Juri in the Arcadia's bar, and noticing Talis' reluctance to engage in conversation Astarielle made to move towards the Exodite before pausing. She'd previously fostered a belief that someone was grateful when you tried to save their life, more than a few friends back home certainly had been, but Yareli had shaken that.

What if she were wrong to intervene now? Hovering in place, torn between wanting to help and not wanting to start something that simmered away just beneath the surface, Astarielle finally turned her attention to the radiotech, whose name she only knew from hearing it in others' conversations.
    "Has everything been alright Avrielle?"

Alo waded out of the water, giving a quick glance to the distance still searching for the one laughing. He seathed his sword and stopped walking in front of Yareli. Alo had a sour look on his face, staring her straight in the eye.
"I am Alo Winterheart. I was recruited to help you by a third party in search of the sword. You must be the rest of this expedition."
Alo crossed his arms. He noticed the tear in Yarelis' clothes.
"You've been fighting? I was told you lack capable fighters. So, here we are."
Alo glanced at Talis, his guilt was turning to anger. Inside he was battling to restrain his temper, his anger at himself threatening to light it's fire again.

Beside the fire, Avrielle looked up at Faenkon and seemed relieved to see a friendly face. The little radiotech did look subdued. But she rallied. Casting a brief glance at Talis, she touched him lightly on the back of the hand, wanting to reassure him that now the others were back, he had backup and was among friends. She spoke to the Ranger as she rose.

"We ... did not get off to a good start with the new ones. I hope it can be resolved. I - well, I see you had good hunting?" She rose, bolstered a little by Yareli's words and her calm confidence.

As she moved to the edge of the fire to get some more wood, Astarielle approached her. Avrielle looked up at the warrior-woman and paused. Her natural instinct to be considerate warred with the fire in her heart and the needless hurt done to the youth at the fireside - as she saw it.

"May I be frank?" She spoke quietly, for Astarielle alone. "The two you see arrived suddenly - literally from the sky - and we - that is, they did not seem to have the ... They acted like arrogant fools!" She could not keep it in. "I think we made some sort of understanding out of it but really I do not know how to talk to them. I am sorry. They said that they were sent to aid us. I do not know by whom. I will try, of course, the mission is more important than my feelings as Morvan rightly said, but ..." her voice trailed even lower.

"I do not like to see people upset, Astarielle, and I ... do not have the mastery of myself to stand idly by while it happens."

Lysandriax was not slow to note the newcomers. The tall, outlandishly dressed Eldar woman looked very much like a Corsair, though not one of the more familiar fleets that often surrounded busy Lugganath. She looked the two Dire Avengers up and down, obviously appraising them in several ways. She noted their stances, their weapons, and the attitudes of their body language.

"Aspect Warriors, spoiling for a fight?" Lysandriax grinned. "I didn't know you Children of Asurmen had it in you. I thought the Path teaches control and discipline?"

Next to the shuttle, Morvan stopped. Only his superior control as a Warlock stopped him from adding anything to that. He went inside. he had to set up a communications nexus and could not afford the distraction. Llyr kept him company, even though there were new and interesting people outside. Talshin folded into the shadows beside him as a bodyguard.
  5. Well, that was about it for him trying to mediate...well, anything really. He nodded respectfully to the pair of dire avengers, but said nothing directly to them. Personally, he was grateful to have some more Aspect Warriors around, regardless of whether or not they rubbed people the wrong way.

"Something smells good, did you all catch something?"

Alos' right eyebrow twitched when Lysandriax spoke.
"They also teach one how to take a life."
Alo spat out the words. Hoping the woman might get a hint not to goad him.
Alo noticed the Fire Dragons nod taking it with a neutral expression. The Dragon reminded him of Il-Kaithes Fire Dragon exarchs' disapproval of Alo. He stomped the embarassing memory down to his subconcious, attempting to prevent further unpleasant memories from surfacing.

"A skill you may need," Lysandriax said, stepping forward unruffled. She did not appear in the slightest intimidated. Instead, she held out a hand to Alo in a gesture of greeting. "I am Lysandriax. I flew with the Sky Serpents, until I saw how narrow their horizons truly were. You're here to add to our martial contingent?"

"Avierelle could you please take over the cooking for young Talis here please?" Faenkon stepped over to Talis and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Come with me, we must talk.... in private." Turning back to ensure Avierelle had taken over the 'grill' before stepping off into the tree line. "We will only be a moment, I promise not to steal your instructor away for too long." He gave her a reassuring smile before departing.

Alo ignored her hand, staring daggers at her. He found he had a measure of respect toward her how she seemed to be not so easily cowed.
"Sky Serpents?" He inhaled deeply. Alo stepped closer, ice in his voice. "Those who walk the damned path deserve death. Their horizons better have been absolutely alien to you."

"Of course," Avrielle said, turning back to Faenkon. The Ranger could see the concern on her face. She stepped up to watch the fire and the meat (cut neatly into equal portions by Talis) and keep it warm until needed.

"You can trust Faenkon; I have seen him fight and he never does so without reason," she said, trying to reassure Talis. She spoke to him quietly, not for all to hear, just for the youthful Exodite. She gave him a small smile, and a quick nod that his handiwork would be safe with her.
