@Uriel1339 & @High_Adept_Zeth | Seeing Yareli fall back Astarielle took hold of her uninjured arm, dragging the Mymearan further from the rock-serpent. "You feel better for getting injured?" Astarielle's tone was slightly exasperated, who takes on a beast like that with a sword?, and she glanced at Morvan, hoping the warlock knew healing magics. "Morvan, some help here please?" The situation with the rock-serpent seemed to under control, the Fire Dragon living up to his specialisation, and so Astarielle turned her attention to Yareli, using her inexperienced eye to assess Yareli's injury while she waited for Morvan's response.
@Avenging-Angel & @High_Adept_Zeth + Others Yareli hissed at the sharp pain, clinging strong to her blade at the pain of her arm. Once dragged away she got back on her feet, she could feel the cold winds whipping at her open wound, burning intensively. Even though she was no warrior, she had pride. The blade quickly switched from the right to the left hand. Be trained with both arms, you never know in what situations you may find yourself. Her aunt, trained in swinging dual blades always emphasized. "I am fine." Yareli barked at Astarielle, showing quite her fierce, less diplomatic side. "I will not stand back and let others fight while I just stand there like a damsel in distress! I will not have it that anyone dares to call me a coward nor someone who needs to be protected." She shook the arm off Astarielle if she was still holding her and moved back into line with Amriel. "I will fight like the rest of us." The noblewoman at last determined, rotating the blade in her hand and readying herself for close quarter defense in case the serpent would attack once more. She had to move faster this time and time her attack better with the Aspect Warriors.
@BadDo9 @ItsTime @Jorimel Alo cursed under his breath. "...Damned seers, damned harlequins, damn the whole warp..." He had questions and he was annoyed by the lack of their answers. He looked at the rune in his hand, scowling at it for a few seconds trying to find a meaning. Then he remembered that he was in a different place, and that he was being shouted at. He pocketed the rune. Alos' temper flared. He got off the rock and shouted back. "You best know how to use that if you mean to raise it against me!" After a few steps toward them Alo removed his helmet. His dark blonde hair covered half of his face as it settled on his head and shoulders, Alo had a stern look on his face. His hand strayed to his own sword, eyes fixed on the exodite in a hard stare. "I am Alo Winterheart, this where you tell me who you are." Alo noticed movement in the water and smirked at Artarsi. "Oh, you're here too. Got your feet wet?"
The beast was fast, that was for sure! Faenkon took aim and fired another round at close range into the already opened wound. They had to take it down fast if they hoped to stop anyone else from being injured. "She said she's fine, now help kill this beast!" He was glad that someone had pulled Yareli away, but he knew she was tough and wouldn't allow herself to sit out while the rest fought. He hoped she would understand that his statements was a testament to her strength and not a sign of disrespect. But there was time for that later!
@Uriel1339 | "An injured warrior gets others killed." Astarielle released the ungrateful Mymearan with a shrug as Faenkon spoke and lifted her shuriken pistol, looking along its length and taking aim at the rock-serpent's eyes before opening fire, feeling through her wrist the razor-sharp discs race from the weapon.
Amriel stood, his moment opportune. The beast had lunged with its head, maw opened wide to inflict some manner of grievous injury upon him. Just like the Chaos defilers, weakest for a moment before their attack, and while that was the most dangerous time to strike, a true warrior never faltered in his duty. The fusion gun would roar again, this time directly at the rocky beast's head. The fire of Fuegan and Khaine flowed through the warrior and out the muzzle of his gun, pointed at the beast's gaping maw.
@Wata @BadDo9 Artarsi wasn't very fond of the whole Harlequin idea, he was after all, plucked from his craftworld like a flower and appeared in some foundation soon after. It happened so soon, yet so slowly, so much so that he could comprehend everything in a matter of moments, but once again, Artarsi found himself in yet another place, a more lively place at that. But maybe this was all a test? He couldn't think about it, not now. Artarsi looked down upon the knife-armed exodite, a once proud Eldar turned to a more tribal state, a shameful and petty display. But so was his own arrogance, he knew. "Perhaps, you should put the knife down. We're not here to steal your er...-Cattle. We're here to do something of importance! Yes, quite so.", Artarsi answered with a grin to Alo's question.
Before Dragon Quest. "It would be cruel to be left behind while the rest go in search. Does a hand not use all it's digits to make a fist? In this case around a legendary sword which will make us Legends. I can think of nothing so cruel as that to be left out of. Unless we have volunteers?" Iktomi said with a wink and a grin. Shoot one shuriken was fired if you wanted it done. Shooting one hundred was unnecessary, but the results are the same. "If the seer or our own eyes are drawn upon the shuttle, then we can take solace in that it cannot leave the atmosphere wothout being detected and tracked by the Arcadia. It's not like it's our ONLY shuttle... hmmm." Taking an inhale from his orbo, Iktomi couldn't help but feels as through he had intentionally forgotten something. 'Alright, what did I do that Reevia said I shouldn't do? Better start at the top.' The Felarch thinks in cognitive limbo. 'Don't crash the ship. Not that. Don't steal things that can think for themselves. Arbitrary, but not that.' This would go on for several minutes, giving others the imlression that Iktomi was in deep contemplation. Now, here there be Dragons! "A splended specimen." Iktomi said at the sight of the charging Dragon. "It's either defending it's territory or it thinks we're an easy meal. Either way, the result is the same. A challange!" Bracing himself, right hand going for his blaster and left for his sword. Then it happened. "Yareli!" She had lept first. Taking it on, just as he was prepared to do. Truly this was a sign. 'I'm cursed with luck.' He thought. Leaping to his noblewoman's side, void saber at the ready. "Always leaping into action. Are you certain you've never been a Corsair? Mind if I join this dance? High and low." Raising the blaster, Iktomi fired upon the Serpent to provoke it. A glancing shot as close to the center as it's movements allowed. Saber pointed low for the beast's swiping limbs. When it was closer, Iktomi dashed to the right sided forward claw. Fainted with a boost of his jetpack, before a vicious slash to the Dragon's slimb body. Shredding it's underarmed wings. 'This one is pure muscle, but even a wing must be thin and painful!'
@DaKaptin & @Jorimel "I may not have been one, but it is my time to be one! I cannot let you fight all battles for me, my dear!" She replied, glad Iktomi took position next to her, together they would fell the beast, just like they have defeated the fallen Eldar before. Even though she had been defensive until now, the Felarch's attack inspired her to follow suit, and two blades were better than one. As long as it was not the 99th blade, that is. "A fierce dance with you is one of my favorite new activities, though I yet have to show you what I learned on Lugganath." She added while charging, having an awkwardly excited smile on her face. Was she actually enjoying charging into an almost suicidal fight? It was awkward, despite the blood running from her right arm, she was so filled with adrenaline and dominated by her survival instinct that the only thing mattering was her left hand holding the blade, imbuing courage into her as if Khaela Mensha Khaine himself was leading her hand.
@Wata @ItsTime @Jorimel Talis' hand paused near the hilt of his sword, imposing himself between the aspects and Avrielle. "I know how to use this.. But I'm not idiot enough to think I could match you." he growled. He didn't want to fight, but neither was he going to back down like this. "My name is Talis. How about we acknowledge that someone splashing into water with no warning is pretty freaky and calm down.. Okay?" the very nervous Exodite called to the newcomers.
