Smiley couldn't help feel like he was being left out of something with the two group talking in their own tongues, but with the way they glared at one another it doubted it wanted to be involved in the first place. Moving its hood more over its face it so it would be ignored by the guards and the mutants, it walked over to the Kroot when it heard its story. It had a moment of fear at the word Inquisition used between Cha'ka and Tyesha, it wanted to know why. @MetalDog4 "Your...Inquisssitor, do they wear a mark that looked like thisss?" it asked him, trying its best to make the stylised I in the dirt it saw that was painted on not only the Inquisitor but also the stromtroopers that came with him. It had heard the word from the troopers as the battled raged but it was not important as surviving so it did not pay much attention to it till now. Perhaps now it can have a better understanding at what killed his brood, but doubted he can do much with the information. It was not one of the higher beings, the 'pure' ones, it did not have the same kind of physical prowess as they did. It would need to evolve, but without their guidance it wasn't sure how.
@TuskatheDaemonKilla At this, Lance was beyond angry, quickly approaching him in a not to friendly fashion, "You shite, calling me a pet!? I'm not the animal h..." Before he could finish his sentence he found himself lying flat on his back, is legs swept from under him by Tyesha's stave. "Dear Lance, as you recall, my father was not one to tolerate fools." She leaned in a bit closer as she pressed her stave against his chest. "And I think you've upset a superior, you should now better than that. Now apologize." There was no light heartedness in her voice here, rather one of iron authority that would brook no dissent or error, another side of Tyesha rarely seen. Lance looked up at the sapphire lady in disbelief, was he really defending this trash? Through gritted teeth he mumbled, "Apologies... Sir." At this Tyesha smiled brightly, and helped pull him off the ground. "Now go join you brothers now dearie, chop chop." She shoved him back in formation, where he very quickly reasoned teasing in high gothic from his comrades. Tyehsa looked to Skyruss, giving a humorous shrug at the event, "That went well! We should set up another play date for them, I think he's taking a shining to you love" She laughed lightly to herself as she continued her journey, her interest soon back on Cha'ka, with Smiley entering the conversation. @MetalDog4 @BuriasDempsey "I must say love my interest is peaked as well. Doesn't that Ordos hunt xenos? Why didn't they kill you? What was it like? Are there more Kroot on the planet? Hehe, Krooooot."
@BuriasDempsey They had hunted down many incursions of the creatures like Smiley, and, aside from the Dark Ones, they posed the largest threat, and were by far the most fun to hunt. "Yes, that is the sign of the Inquisition yes?" @Keidivh "They hunt Xeno threats to human society. Cha'Ka was no threat to human society, just individual humans. Who better to hunt xenos then other xenos? Kroot hunt all lifeforms and Cha'Ka is great hunter."
Now the face of its brood's destruction had a name to it, may not be a specific name but it at least know what he was and what he was apart of. "That'sss all I wanted to know..." It said as it now left the two in a bit of a hurry it seemed. The Kroot had helped an Inquisitor hunt things but wither or not it helped hunt down its own kind it wasn't sure. Though now it was wary of Cha'ka, having no experience with his kind or fully knowing what it though of Smiley. It was better to be safe than dead right now, especially when everyone seemed holed up in their own little groups while leaving smiley all alone...
~~Industrial Nightmare~~ As the Black Hand pressed onwards to the Industrial area for their job of reclaiming a Hunting Rig, and their own personal goal of expanding their personal power they would find that no-one dared to cross them either fearing for their life if they did made a wrong move around such an intimidating force, or simply having other things to do than pick a fight with such a well-armed and armoured group. As they approached the area, they could clearly see that it consisted of a single factory, barely in any condition to be called a building with various makeshift additions like balconies sprawling over the outside of the building, while there were plenty of holes in the structure that gave away it's long torment under the hands of whoever ruled it. Upon the balconies on the side of the factory facing the interlopers would be three times of snipers on the look out for trouble, while in front of their targeted building was a metal fence going around the facility that had razor-wire topping off the fence, likely to fend off trespassers that wanted to pay a B&E visit to the factory they controlled. In front of the fence were about twelve gangers in total, four of them dedicated to manning a Heavy Stubber with a crew of two while the other eight gangers, teenagers mostly, milled around pieces of improvised cover, sticking in squads of four with one bunch of them packing the lead-spitters and the other with the blades and crushing impliments of melee attackers, while also clad in crude suits of armour made of pieces of scrap metal. The apparent leader of this rabble was a seemingly ex-PDF type, armed with a Hellgun with the weapon's power pack on his back and clad in Flak Armour, but even then he still seemed fresh-faced, like he had been thrown out during boot-camp and never saw service. If there was anything that was a positive in the Black Hand's favour, on the whole they were all better equipped than the fools that stood before them, they had the element of surprise and stealth, plus they simply seemed to be more experienced than the bunch of kids playing Hive Gang. Even Illiad. Enemies: Snipers x 3{Sniper Rifles}: 8 HP per group, two snipers per group. Heavy Weapons Team{Heavy Stubber} x 2: 8 HP per team, two gangers per group. Gangers{Ranged, Las/Stub/Autoguns} x 1: 16 HP, four gangers Gangers{Melee, 1/2H Blades+Blunts, Primative Armour} x 1: 16 HP, four gangers Gang Lieutenant{Hellgun, Flak Armour, Ammo Backpack(Las)} ~Tags~ @Grall_Stonefist @Keidivh @Vulpas @Azathoth @TechCaptain @BuriasDempsey @bossaroo @MetalDog4 @TuskatheDaemonKilla
Tyesha immediately moved behind cover, followed closely by her house guard. This was a heavily fortified position, and while the looked to be green, their entrenchments would be difficult to overcome. She stayed low to the ground as she observed the area. Not wanting to alert the guards, she opened her comm link to the gang to strategize. @BlackHand "Heavy fortifications, with suppression and sniper teams. We need to take those special weapons teams out or we are going to be mincemeat dearies. Way I see it, my pups here will drop a lovely frag grenade for the snipers, and try to take them out. Lance will use the emitter to drive off their close combat troops. Skyruss, perhaps you could take out or suppress the heavy stubbers? I leave it up to you. Smiley, perhaps you could use that dashing cloak of yours to sneak up on and give them a nasty surprise. Fraser could provide fire support, while Nora, Illiad and Cha'ka move in to engage?" It had been some time since Tyesha had gotten an opportunity to strategize like this, and was quite excited to see how this battle would go. She held her staff in anticipation, curious as to how she could help in this battle. Maybe another lighting arc? "What do you think my loves?"
[Before arrival] Marcus shrugged back at Tyesha and simply continued walking with his own group. After the kroot told him he hadn't been on this planet until recently he lost interest in the conversation not really wanting to learn more. He had enough fun for now he wanted to get to business and get this job done. [Arrival] @Keidivh Marcus saw the opposing gang and sighed. "So it's a bunch of kids then." Arucad said as he took a knee for a moment. "Yep and there are a lot of them and they aren't throwing rocks. Steel yourselves brothers this needs to be done maybe we don't need to kill all of them." Marcus said to try to ease his men it was true that the people of the wastes were rather savage at times when compared to those within the hives. But they still had issues with killing children after all they aren't monsters are they? It was then that Marcus got the call from Tyesha over the comments bead. "Fine by me but could we not massacre this one like last time a good portion of them are just kids." He said as he got into a position that over looked the heavy stubber with the rest of his group.
@Keidivh The Kroot eye balled them hungrily. They were just in time for a light afternoon snack. "Whatever you say boss, Kroot will engage however you ask." His rifle was adept at all ranges, the scope and silencer enabling him to shoot those who hadnt seem him yet, the blades dealing with those who had. He looked towards her, waiting for the signal to go.
Smiley nodded and went around the complex to find a much less guarded route it could take to get past the fence surrounding the factory. It kept an eye on the building to see if there were more look outs on the other sides of the building than just the ones out at the front. It had only seen those guarding the most obvious entrance to the factory, so it hoped that perhaps there were a few different ways that were neglected because no one believed those can be used. At least by normal human standards...
@Keidivh Fraser nodded his agreement at the plan finding a good place to set up a snipers nest a few rocks providing cover with just enough space between then to place his long las . He lied down and looked out the scope before saying " all set up , who's first ? Scratch that ive got just the target " he said now getting a less obscured look now he was looking through his scope and not a gas mask "frack, most a these bastuchis are kids , i know this'll sound rough but try not 'urt em ok ? I know its a tall order but they're just kids and they'll probably hoof it if we drop the boss . "
