@Keidivh Marcus grumbled at the woman leaning on him and the smack to the back of his head. "Just don't make me regret being nice to you." He said as Maruke continued on barely noticing the additional weight of the woman. Normally Marcus wouldn't even consider letting someone else ride on Maruke as if he were a pack animal but they did need to make an impact on these Marauders and what better way than to have their negotiator standing on his back? None the less after this is over Tyesha isn't riding him on their way back home unless she's injured.
@bossaroo Nora began looking for a place to set up her trap as shee did began thinking on a better way to help the mutants and the gang survive this misson. Even if she made a trap of promethiam it could only do so much to a vehicle. A new idea coming to mind in the form of fortifying the area where they would be fighting looking over to there veteran guardsmen she wondered if he knew anyways of making better barricades. "Hey Vetger think you can rally the mutants and give them any tips for a combat situation like this and do you have any suggestions or tips on making cover and barricades?" Nora asked as she attempted to find useful things to make cover out of and begin fortifying the location where they were fighting any way she could.
Kruger hopped on his bike and sped forward looking for a hiding spot. As he drove off he kept looking over at his right shoulder, "Yes they know where I'm going. I told them I was gonna find a spot to ambush them. Just shut it!" Sneak He searched for a good area to hide himself and his bike where he could easily see, it shouldn't be too hard with all the junk around. Once he was in his spot he pulled out his Magnocular and scanned the area for the rival gang. With any luck he would be able to flank them when, or rather if, they attacked his new gang. He spun the cylinder on his snub revolver, ready for the fight that was probably gonna happen.
~Preparations for another battle~ @Casavay , @kanila , @Vulpas , @bossaroo The leader, hearing the good news said to Tyesha "Very well Sapphire, we'll stay inside given that we don't have anything worth trying to shoot them with to hand." A few barked orders later, the Hovel's residents were then following the general rule of thumb of getting to cover whenever a fight was about to break out, but once again Kruger's paranoia failed to pan out and he didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Then again, the Wideawake meant that his senses were no longer suffering from sleep deprivation and so he was able to clearly see what was going on. Far away, Gabriel would be able to slap his eyes upon the vehicles coming towards the Hovel: Three five-man squads of bikers armed with various Xeno-made small-arms, two Armoured Cars with twin-linked autocannons... And what looked like a tank, armed with a scrap-made Battle Cannon and two side-turrets with Heavy Flamers, with a crate with a red banner strapped to the hull which like the cannon was also made from scrap. Evidently, they were going to have a fight on their hands but at least they some time to prepare due to the slower pace of the Tank. Meanwhile, the direction that the hostiles were coming form would be becoming clear when the path that lead straight into the further depths of the Underhive rather than veer closer towards the Chapel, and bearing the scars of fast and frequent vehicle travel started to sound noisy with the sound of engines, including the loud engine that bravely yet even to the untrained was struggling to power the vehicle it ran. On that note, Kruger would find a passable hiding spot where he could hide himself and Hippolyta from prying eyes within some rubble, his bike able to rest on a conveniently place sheet of metal so that he could speed into battle once he spotted the enemy.... Speaking of that, he was able to lay eyes upon the convoy heading their way, but he could only see about ten bikers coming towards the Hovel. Vetgar, alas wouldn't be able to find anywhere elevated that would allow for him to set down the Multilaser however, forcing him to either tough it out in the open or find somewhere where he can run an ambush. Nora would have slightly better luck thankfully, finding enough rubble that she could to make Vetgar's cover for the Veteran's Multilaser and some of the less-armoured gang members, but any fortifications she made would likely not withstand anything more than small arms fire. ~Interception~ @Keidivh , @TuskatheDaemonKilla While the others either hid themselves or prepared for a battle, the Psyker and Mutant would find themselves at the forefront of the action when both woman, man and beast found themselves staring down the barrels of the entire Marauder group, which had taken the liberty of stopping to avoid running over the trio. Soon a voice blared out from a Laud Hailer on the tank "WHO ARE YOU, AND WHY DO YOU DARE GET IN OUR WAY?" With twenty Xenos small arms, four auto cannon barrels, two Heavy Flamers and a Battle cannon staring them down, an snappy answer was advisable for their life expectancy before they ended up a fine red mist of gore from the assorted firepower. ~Stats~ Vehicles: Intercepted. Maruke: 100% Integrity 15x Bikers {Xenos-Crafted Small Arms}: 100% Total Integrity 2x Armored Cars{Extra barrel Autocannon}: 100% Total Integrity 1x Tank {Improvised Battle Cannon, 2x Heavy Flamers, Loot Crate, Scrap Armour, Laud Hailer}: 100% Integrity Kruger: 6 HP Tyesha: 7 HP Hippolyta: 16 HP Gabriel: 7 HP Nora: 7 HP Vetgar: 12 HP Marcus: 12 HP
Vetgar gratefully nodded to Nora before taking cover behind the rubble and rubbed some soot and dust on himself and his gun making himself harder to see before he mostly hid himself amongst the rubble. He breifly made the sign of the aquila and and let out a silent prayer hoping Tyesha and Marcus hadnt gotten in over their heads
Tyesha sighed to herself inwardly as they met the armored column that was leisurely making its way to steamroll the mutant settlement. It was obvious that they weren't looking to talk peace, but perhaps they could be delayed? Even a small amount of time would help to let the others prepare. @TuskatheDaemonKilla Leaning back slightly, Tyesha whispered towards Skyruss , trying not to draw any attention. "I'll try to stall them, but if they make one wrong move get us the frack out of here." @Maleth The witch's attention then turned back to the the caravan. "Greetings gentlemen, quite sorry about the delay of your journey. We were sent by the good people of this settlement to welcome you in, and offer whatever it is you seek." Grabbing a pouch at her side she proceeded to toss it before the group, containing a total of 1,000 credits. "A small token of goodwill to show the sincerity of their offer." It was a hell of a risk, but if she could convince them that the village had surrendered tjem their guard would be down, and the rest of the gang could give them a truly proper welcome. OOC: Charm don't fail me now
Looking at his new accomplice, "Hey your fire trap should work out great. I'm seeing 10 bikers, if we can hit most, if not all of them, that should help out. Then we just ride in there and cleanup with blade and gun!" He nodded to the eviserator as he patted his shotgun. Kruger continued to scan for any signs that could be exploited, as he did his neck twitched slightly when he pulled up the Magnocular.
@Keidivh Marcus gave a nod to Tyesha and held onto Maruke's chain collar ready to pull it and tell him to book it back into the town. He wasn't expecting a god damn tank and he also want expecting Tyesha to throw the savages a bag full of their money but he wasn't about to complain with some many weapons pointed at them. 'Here's hoping this works.' He thought to himself as his grip on the chains tightened.
@bossaroo @Casavay -Gabriel Gabriel looked through the sights of his scope with a grimace as he saw the scene through his scope putting a hand to his ear he activates his combead. "It isn't looking good from here, seems like the gang that's coming to the hovel has two armored cars, a tank, and around fifteen bikers s all arms it looks like, armored cars seem to have some mean looking auto cannons, and the tank looks to have scrap armor and a battle cannon, and two heavy flamers. Looks like our two have intercepted at the moment but maybe heading back to us." Gabriel said through the combead to the crew on the ground at the hovel, then activating his combead to the interception crew Tyesha and Marcus he hoped to get there word on if he should give some aid. @Keidivh @TuskatheDaemonKilla "Marcus, Tyesha want me to give you support from above, when your out of range of the vehicles guns?" Gabriel asked through his combead hoping one of them could answer without tipping of the marauder's. He heard Nora's request but awaited tyeshas and Marcus answer first before looking. Nora- As Nora heard Gabriel's communication she knew she would need to hurry wit her plans if the Hand would have a better chance at besting the marauders and surviving this mission and protecting the hovel. "Vetger I am going to try and set up a trap under trash a canister of flamer fuel under some random debris enough to conceal it but not enough to block a shot that should ignite it and set up a fire ball." Nora said as she took out a canister of flamer fuel and began covering it up with some garbage and rusted scrap metal. After doing this Nora began looking for a place to take cover and help the others as a idea popped in her head putting a hand over her com bead she tried to vox Gabriel. "Gabriel I just got a idea can you spot any side paths or streets that lead behind the marauders I got a idea that may help us take them on if we can out flank there rear." Nora said looking to the others she looked to there new team mate and gladiator wondering if the new members bike could get them around the streets and marauders fast enough.
@Vulpas ~Tyesha~ Hearing their eye in the sky, Tyesha turned towards Skyruss, talking at him but speaking to the bounty hunter through her comm. "We'll try to lead these fine gentleman into our welcome party, but if things get hairy then some fire support would be appreciated. Be ready my dearie." She then gave a sly wink to Skyruss, now she would have to just convince them, seperate them from the tank, and wipe them out before they swarm the tank. Simple as accidentally summoning a demon! ~Sapphire Vanguard~ Tyrus sat silent in cover, having moved into an abandoned hab shelter that seemed more solid than the rest. He looked over his master crafted hellgun, a fresh hotshot pack loaded in and ready to unleash death. Lance was sitting against the wall, trying to come to terms with being on his first mission without his brothers. "Can't believe Tywin's gone man. He kept us going, kept our spirits up. He's the reason we made it down to the Underhive to serve Lady Demetris. He should be here now, not me..." He hung his head low for a moment, before feeling an armored hand on his shoulder. "That decision belongs to the Emperor, not you son. There's a reason your still here, so don't waste your time in grief, it dishonors the dead." It was a surprising moment of empathy from the generally hardened veteran, but immediately he went back to his grim watch, waiting for their moment to defend their liege. OOC: In other words their waiting to kick some ass
