These are the most honest words...That should have been in the recent news letter! While its not, we have to keep them on Top of the List to be sure that everyone who is new to this Game should read it and understand the reasons behind "WHY" ! Thanks Nathan & bE Team. It still makes little sense. They've let the fans down numerous times already, if the developer loses support at this point it's not so much the fans letting them down as it is the consequences of their actions.
For me, they didn't let me down. I've been following Streams and news as much as i could, and for example, the open world cancelation was communicated long ago. They even offered refunds at that point if i remeber correctly, for a time. I know what i will get, they are transparent and tell us what's going on. Not everything is working as they imagined, but they try to do their best. But of course, if people loose their fate and want to abbandon this game, why not? If they think this is the right way, i'll be the last one to prevent them from doing it (not that i could do that in the first place of course )
Yeah, problem is that most forget what transparent development means. Seeing the failures and what get scrapped and replaced. In the other games, they announce it when its already ready, even with alpha and beta you dont get any information what problems they had or how the concept is different from the game you get.
I uh, don't actually think its an even split, or even close. Several hundred out of tens of thousands...
Fans expectations are never realistic, never met and always changing. Hell even Blizzard can't meet "fan expectations" anymore because they're all never endingly demanding. Seriously this is the best WH40k game ever attempted in a non RTS environment. Rag all you want about "but mah Space Marine" but that game was pretty simplistic in it's mechanics and delivery. Just a linear story mode with a mirrored faction vs faction PvP side game. Take a step back and look at what we have already, REALLY look at it. And then realize it will only be built upon more.
I never counted to be honest ^^. But i read comments about how much EC will fail and suck everywhere. Maybe those just got the loudest voices...
these tens of thousands are not playing the game, so its a bit optimistic to assume they are even following this, let alone they agree with you.
