Alright, sorry for my lateness i've been at work all day and still need to shower and such (its been a long day) So consider this a place holder for me to write up character info but basically i'm game for being the Shas'O of the Tau and my Character will be the same as my name Shas'O Kias. I'll do an in depth bio of how i'll be depicting him after i shower and feel clean again... so watch this space.

    Uhm... quick question.

Can I still sign up to play in a non-leadership role? I'm interested in signing up but on page nine it says voting's closed. Does that mean apps in general are closed?

Sorry if the answer ought to be obvious. I'm not familiar with the voting system as it applies to RP threads so I'm a little confused.

The Dark Apostle Jaral is every bit the imposing figure one would expect from someone of his rank. Nearly half-a-head taller than your average Astartes when in his full battle plate, the holy leader of the 22nd Company-Host demands both fear and awe from those who look upon him. His armor bears the dark crimson that is characteristic of the Word Bearers Legion though his silver trims have been replaced by material that appears to be either ebony or obsidian. His armor is covered in the flowing script of his ancient homeworld of Colchis, extracts of the Book of Lorgar carved over much of his armor. These runes glow with the baleful, unnatural light of the Warp, seeming to shift and change the longer one looks at them, their colors ever-changing. Hanging from several portions of his armor are pieces of flayed skin belonging to enemy champions, both human and xeno, that Jaral has slain in the past. These grisly trophies also bear the same ruins as his armor making the Dark Apostle into a walking Book of Lorgar. An actual copy of this holy texts made from the skin of fallen enemies actually hangs at his waist at all times, secured to his armour by an adamantium chain.

Etched into his ceramite plates are designs that appear to be thorny vines, various overlapping strands travelling up his arms and legs and over his chest. It is unknown what significance these symbols hold but they only appeared on Jaral's armor after he was given command of the Host by the former Dark Apostle who had finally ascended to Daemonhood. Jaral's armor itself is a relic of the Horus Heresy that has been corrupted and influence by the powers of Chaos. It is nearly impossible to point out which Mark of Astartes Battle-plate that the various pieces of his Power Armor come from given the millennia he has spent within the Eye of Terror. Spikes and horns spring up from various locations on his armor, being as much for decoration as they are for combat. Two curling horns just out from either side of Jaral's helmet, symbolizing the Horns of Colchis, an icon of his Legion's destroyed homeworld. The Dark Apostle's power-pack has also been modified, a large eight-pointed star resting on top of it like a perverted version of the Iron Halo so many of his Loyalist brethren wear, as well as the exhaust ports having been modified to bear braziers which constantly burn with holy incense that smells of brimstone and death.

Weapons: Jaral's chief weapon is his staff of office as a Dark Apostle, the Accursed Crozius. A long hafted mace fashioned in the shape of two bisecting eight-pointed stars, the weapon has been blessed by the Daemon Primarch Lorgar himself and is covered in scripture from the Book of Lorgar. The head of the weapon crackles with deadly power, the purple glow of its energy field pulsing like the beating of a heart. Capable of being swung with two hands or just one, the weapon has built up a remarkable tally in its lifetime, claiming the lives of xenos, humans and Astartes alike. Few armors can stand up befor its power, especially when it bears the power of the Warp itself. In addition Jaral carries a Bolt Pistol at his side. Covered in the same runes and vine pattern as his armor, the weapon's muzzle has been shaped into the roaring demon head that serves as the Word Bearers Legion's symbol in a dark bronze. The weapon fires bolt shells infused with the power of Chaos, causing horrific mutations on those unlucky enough to be struck by it and live should they lack the ability to fight off its influence.

Personality: As a religious leader of his legion, Jaral is a shrewd politician. Speaking with a calm, velvety voice that sounds pleasant even through the speakers of his helmet, he has a talent for putting those he speaks to at ease, serving as a calming presence wherever he is. An adept at playing the role of a friend, he has gained the trust of many during the course of his life and has numerous allies within the Legions of Chaos and their affiliates such as the Dark Mechanicum. This, for the most part, is just a ruse. Jaral is a manipulator at heart, talented at bringing people to his side to suit his own ends before casting them away once their usefulness has ended. A speaker of honeyed words and false promises, he is known to keep up his act until the last moment before revealing his true color and ensuring there are no loose ends. It is this skill that has allowed him to propagate cults on numerous Imperial worlds, planting the seeds of betrayal which eventually blossom into full fledged heresy. By the time that his loyal cultists realize that they are nothing but pawns for the Word Bearer it is often too late.

The Dark Apostle's calm demeanor only cracks when delivering sermons on the favored church of the Dark Gods, the battlefield. His voice turning into a terrifying roar, he chants out phrases from the Book of Lorgar with a voice that carries over the cacophonous din of war, his words able to drown out the clashing of blades or booming of cannons. Filled with an ecstatic joy, a broad grin on his face, recites the holy scriptures with each swing of his Crozius, allowing the radiance of the Chaos Gods fill his body and make him into an engine of destruction.

I thank you.... and you apologize? *tilts head* (I didn't meant to make it sound sarcastic, I really meant it out of gratitude, I like when people besides the creator support those who have questions :) )

I just noticed something what I completely left out of track and also to make it easier for the Space Marines to get together....

As you have seen here and there the Eldar individuals each have like 3 votes. Well I made that because I went with "okay they want each other to be that" but at the same time I defined in the rules that you only have 1 vote per faction.

Therefore according to my rule each would have only 1 as they vote for themselves. So there is now a change to the rules (I am sorry for the confusion that comes along with rule change, I should have noticed earlier, please forgive me! :) )

The Rule Change: Each member of a faction has 1 vote PER POSITION. This means for example if you join the Ultramarines you can vote:

    once for a Captain
    once for Seargent #1
    once for Seargent #2

BUT! not for the 2nd chapter as this is treated as an other faction. This shall make it easier for people to vote for themselves as one position and vote for others the sub-ordinate they would prefer in that position.

So for example the Shas'o of the Tau has nominated and voted for himself, but he also can vote for his Shas'Vre, as his Shas'Vre can also vote for himself AND the Shas'o. This will allow more cooperation and favor of leaders within a faction.

Please note also that most likely only the Space Marine Chapters will be affected by this rule as the other Factions are already organized.
