This RP resulted out of the failure of the Arkhona RP. Reasons were, but are not limited to: - PvP Doesn't work in this Forum - Factions with more players than others were overpowered as they had 'more actions' available - Nobody really dared to PvP with their main characters or let anyone die Therefor this will be like Arkhona, a multi-faction RP, swapping between missions. Other than that it will be strictly Co-Op, except players start jumping on eachother. (Imagine a bunch of space marines, start to suspect eachother of heresy and start killing eachother ; that would be an exception) So how will this work? Easy! You will create as many characters as you want. Though I warn right away: There will be some restrictions here and there, depending on scenarios. The 'Deathwatch principle' (different chapters, but 1 team) does not apply to all factions. Also I intend that just because Space Marines are participating it won't be necessary Deathwatch. (Imagine playing the main characters of a book) Before each mission I will state how many slots per faction and what will be available. For Example: Mission #X - <name> Available Slots: 1 Imperial Governor (Mandatory) 1 PDF Colonel (Optional) 2 PDF Majors (Optional) X PDF Soldiers (Optional) 1 Imperial Fist Captain (Mandatory) 3 Imperial Fist Sergeants (2 Mandatory) 6 Imperial Fist Marines (optional) Obviously not all slots will be always opened and some are optional. The Mandatory slots have to be filled before the Game can begin (obviously) as otherwise the story line gets too flat or the players cannot move the story forwards, etc. So how does character creation really work? Well I would recommend use this: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/roleplay-character-database.5167/ There posted I just can easy link to the characters and you can just keep listing and listing and listing. Keep in mind that most likely the same characters will return or the storyline will continue, therefor Traits and Flaws earned through Missions will be persistent. Other than that sometimes you will get the chance your character to 'transform'. I.E. an Ork can switch clans without much problem. So a Goff Ork may be used in a Bad Moons mission, but then he is perhaps a perma member of that clan. Or an Imperial Fist Marine might join the Deathwatch and be available for DW missions. But please if you use such moments do not make them jumping back and forth. I.E. Mission #1 - Imperial Fist ; Mission #4 - Deathwatch ; Mission #9 - Imperial Fist again ; Mission #16 - Deathwatch again Nothing wrong with that, but just saying regards of personality, char development and such things. With no further delay! The Setup for Mission #1 Mission #1 - Rise of the Warhost (Eldar) - Craftworld Mymeara 1 Autarch - Mandatory - Taken 1 Farseer - Mandatory - Taken 1 Spiritseer - Mandatory - Taken 2 Shadow Spectre Exarchs - Optional (More info: here) - 1 Taken 3 Warlocks - Optional - 1 Taken 1 Banshee Exarch - Optional - Taken 1 Warp Spider Exarch - Optional - Taken 1 Fire Dragon Exarch - Optional 1 Dark Reaper Exarch - Optional - Taken 1 Dire Avenger Exarch - Optional 1 Striking Scorpion Exarch - Optional - Taken (Shrine) 2 Pathfinders - Optional Complete Army List: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/tides-of-destiny-multi-faction-rp.6638/page-4#post-251960
OOC: Keep in mind.... Exarch Oh and.... OOC Thread will be used from here: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/ooc-thread-eternal-crusade-of-arkhona.5849/page-31 will be a bit confusing, but will ask for thread name change ^^
I suppose that I will give the Farseer a shot. Standing back and guiding the flow of battle, rather then actively fighting it
