ummm the thing is in offical 40k or at least on the models nearly all the thunder hammers look like this while that big one you link is actually a daemonhammer, the thunder hammers big two handed brother. http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Thunder_Hammer
all we just saw in the trailer is about to be changed until release and when the game will be accessable for us players then we will complain about everything that does not look right And the devs will listen to us!
I like the hammer in the trailer, hopefuly i will get a Space Wolves version My favorit is the one that the old TT Space Wolf Iron Priest has.
In fact it's to big to be used with just one hand, hell that huge head it's to big to be used with two hands lol, it's ok for a fantasy setting but hammers can't be as long as swords... and the two handed animation it's exactly the same as the chainsword, probably we will just see the in that trailer. Picture so you can see the size of a medieval one handed hammer.
I'm guessing it's just an ornate Thunderhammer like the above image. And last time I checked you can have two handed Thunderhammers.
